One of those bands whose latter-day political statements I don't quite agree with, but it never stopped me from enjoying their music.
U2 on the other hand - I used to be a major fan, but Bono's political crap just became so lame, I really can't listen to it any more.
And I haven't heard them played anywhere for a while.
De-platformed by the people without any conscious campaign or movement.
It's like your shady cousin in prison for fraud -we just politely won't mention him.
