I love mazzy. You might like one of my favorite bands that surprising nobody seems to have heard of, Califone:



I've seen them live and they are amazing. It was a very intimate show.

ETA: It's the singer from Red Red Meat, which is another great band. He also did a collaboration album with Isaac Brock of Modest Mouse under the band name Ugly Casanova.
