If the Parents set a 'good example' for their Children in the first place, they wouldn't be in this situation to begin with. What lessons are those Illegals teaching their kids?

1. It's ok to Disobey the Law
2. It's ok to lie about your status
3. Then Scream about it when you're caught even though you're clearly in the Wrong
4. And if you don't get caught? Get a fake ID card and steal money from tax paying Americans


Not very good guidelines to teach your kid is it?

The easier and humane thing to do all around is to send them all home as a family, "Hi, nice to meet you all. Bye now, go back from where thou cameth."

Splitting kids from their families, especially really young ones, because you think you're being "tough" on something only serves to create foundations for serious mental problems later, and solidify backlash. And those of us who've been insulted by and pissed about this tactic since it's inception don't give a rat's ass about who's driving the country when, fact of the matter is this policy still exists and people still think it's ok. The f# is it, you knuckle dragging animals.

Yes it is unfortunate. I will agree to that. It also raises concerns and questions about what type of parent would put their kids in a situation for that to happen. It was ultimately the parents responsibility. But, that doesn't make it any less sad. I get that. We have laws as a nation that have been put into place to deal with the yucky underbelly of what goes on in society.
I believe we first must change our own nation for the better while it is easier, than to wait for the problem to get bigger. That has been put on hold for the past 50 years. Will Trump change it? I don't know. I think he will focus on what he considers other important issues.
Let me ask you a question?
Do you think that if Trump put an end to the child/parent separation would that gain him any votes from the left during the next election?
