with the Federal government there is actually a policy in place for how to handle classified material and how to punctuate and write memorandum's of understanding as well as other forms of documentation that is used for official communication

you probably don't even know what a memo is

I used to handle this for the military, I had a security clearance and it was part of my job

It would be hard to imagine someone so involved in an investigation wouldn't know the key players and their spouses of the investigation.
