You know I agree with you. We have discussed this and I didn't realize it was your thread until I looked at the author of it. I should have known!


People are not aware of themselves. They seem to care more about what others see of them than what they see of themselves. I've learned when you stop letting others opinions affect your life things get better and more clear....well for me they did anyway.

Sounds like Aleister Crowley's "Do what thou wilt..." (do what you want). Satanism also tends to revolve around what they call "the self". Related terminologies are "self-centered" and "selfish". Pride and fear are also factors in those who find these types of ideologies appealing (see end of comment).

Some propagandists play on pride. Often we can spot appeals to pride by looking for such key phrases as: “Any intelligent person knows that . . .” or, “A person with your education can’t help but see that . . .” A reverse appeal to pride plays on our fear of seeming stupid. Professionals in persuasion are well aware of that.

Other fears can be exploited as well, such as the fear of being seen as the typical religious fanatic characterized and ridiculed in cartoons, tv-shows and movies for example. Which is actually quite similar to a reverse appeal to pride that plays on our fear of seeming stupid (gullible, brainwashed, closedminded, judgemental, delusional, etc.). And it works even better when there are actual people behaving according to the characterized pattern:

The 'do what you want'-ideology certainly doesn't seem to have any good fruits in the video above. I'd rather see a bit more restraint and civilized behaviour than people just doing what they feel like doing which is a set-up not of their own making anyway, they've been manipulated to feel like doing the things in the video above, both sides. Divide and conquer is a popular tactic by the one pulling the strings here.

No matter what label one wants to throw at another; accepting that means turning the knob on a door that many times should remain locked.

Leave it at the office leave it at the job and focus on relaxing; when both of those occur at or in the home? Too much can pile up; so ordering tasks becomes more important than what to keep or leave behind. Moving always leaves things in a pile for later; as pressure mounts and builds for some reason no matter who it is from; means something has to give; when it has been just take or claim? Best to leave the baggage that is not one's own burden where appropriate.

If someone abused you? They were full of it; so let them think they dropped their burden on you all they want too; then walk away... later they will wonder where that mountain came from; and not know it was their own pile of # they tried to deal you.

P.S. I like how your name also sounds like a protest... as in who says I have to give up all that I love to "grow up" in other words be judged in another's eyes?

Of course; someone that has whittled all of my possession down to a backpack as an adult a few times; car loads several times? It grows extremely old in how annoying it gets when older but not necessarily wiser starts demanding their way or the highway when one has been on it so much already.

Prodigal son got thrown in my face; and like every other time I came back? Mother. She carried me for however long; and also carried an ass for even longer. Of course my footsteps are my footsteps and only I and my shadow has ever walked them.

Others may bear tales and stories some have even emulated and this sort of thing? I cannot help. A burden is a burden and all the shrugging? Eh sometime courage, sometimes strength... but in the end? ALWAYS ON YOUR OWN TIME. Love is what decides or chooses to make that room... I cannot claim love just the same as I cannot claim hate. All there is is just that at that moment as it is arising and passing... stuck? Well, perspective... many facets of being for light to shine through day or night, no matter what one wants to avoid or run to as a shelter? Others want the same and that is where groups etc form... where separation starts; where unknown and unknown start blurring the lines.

If there is any self in all of these things and labels over time? What part of it actually is you?

So when you say toys for adults? Sure why not? Of course some treat people as toys and some say that is just a continual learning process... predators that continually pick and choose to do such a thing however? Hey their time is numbered so walk on baby walk on when crawling is NOT your kind of option.

I'm very aware of who I am and my place in the universe. I'm a tiny, weak little creature crawling on an insignificant moist rock on the outskirts of an average galaxy among billions. In the fullness of universal time, I will live for such a brief period of time that it will barely register. My personal universe is small, along with my knowledge, and my fleeting thoughts are half filled with trying to figure out ways to meet my biological needs and half filled with pointless flights of fancy and fantasy.

When I die, my perception of the universe will die with me. If the universe has any kind of persistence after I die, then after the last person who knew me dies, I will be truly forgotten forever in time and space.

I have noticed a trend as well.

Democracy is choosing the lessor evil of a two headed snake. A puppet show that fools the sheeple in thinking they have choice.

Media does not promote news. It tells people what to think and when to think it. Resulting in otherwise smart individuals parroting media as if it came from their own brain.

Education impairs free thinking. Free thinking movements of the 60's nearly did all the government in. So no more schooling students on the likes of Plato. They want a subservient populace. Not thinkers.

Birth rate is diminishing world wide. But our teeth are whiter than ever. So what does it matter.

Realising any of the above isn't enlightenment. Just means ones brain isn't in sleep mode.
