Personal power maybe "what you want to do and do it" according to your own thoughts of action.
For me, the idea of Antichrist is an unspoken knowledge that every person has; it's just the denial of god and the acceptance of yourself as a powerful entity that can make their own decisions. - Marylon Manson, Satanist
Some propagandists play on pride. Often we can spot appeals to pride by looking for such key phrases as: “Any intelligent person knows that . . .” or, “A person with your education can’t help but see that . . .” A reverse appeal to pride plays on our fear of seeming stupid. Professionals in persuasion are well aware of that.

I'm very aware of who I am and my place in the universe. I'm a tiny, weak little creature crawling on an insignificant moist rock on the outskirts of an average galaxy among billions. In the fullness of universal time, I will live for such a brief period of time that it will barely register. My personal universe is small, along with my knowledge, and my fleeting thoughts are half filled with trying to figure out ways to meet my biological needs and half filled with pointless flights of fancy and fantasy.
When I die, my perception of the universe will die with me. If the universe has any kind of persistence after I die, then after the last person who knew me dies, I will be truly forgotten forever in time and space.
