Slow Page Load Comments-Posts ETC

Multiple devices, multiple IP's, slow response time across the board since over a month now.

Is something going on? I know it's not isolated to this one user.

Probably DDoS attacks. ATS is a common target for obvious reason.

Perhaps, but the frequency of the infrequency of the issue seems to disagree with that.

Unless I suppose the attacker is very persistent.

You could try 198.15.108.202 instead of the domain name next time you are experiencing the slowdown.

We tried before with a thread on the same topic but no one from management turned up with an explanation.

Hopefully, this time they will.

When i load several pages too fast i get the slow load, if i don't do that i see normal speed loading

I am using a 100mbps connection so i know it is not the internet it is something else, like one of those things that reject people that try to put down a site, denial of service i think

Well to ways to defeat denial of service attacks. One is scrubbers that literally ban acesss based on number of times they access the network. Or they can store the site on multiple servers and switch if a server becomes overloaded.

I dont know if ATS uses these methods but if they do it will cause those lags as the site deals with attacks.

Ironic ended up with double post do to slow server.

I don't know how it really works but i would think that if i had something like what you say i would not try to let anyone know, because then they can know how to take me down
