Alright, here's mine: Duel an old movie with Dennis Weaver. Love to see a remake if it were done right, not like most of the lame remakes out now.
Race with the Devil.
Capricorn One Though I don't think you could improve on it.
Crack in the World

A sequel to Goonies would be great but only if it was done right. Maybe the kids of the original Goonies go on a crazy adventure to save the neighborhood once more. On the other hand, it would probably be a massive disappointment as it's really hard to capture that 80's sense of wonder/amazement/adventure apparently.

I really wish they'd done the rest of the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series with Rooney Mara as Lisbeth Salander. Instead, they've decided to wait 7 years and skip to the 4th book in the series, not written by Stieg Larsson, not starring Rooney Mara.

A Goonies reboot would be great!

I was not aware that Rooney Mara was locked out of the rest of the series. So I don't want to watch it now... blah.

Blazing Saddles wouldn't be possible in this day and age... hhmm....

My vote would be Electric Dreams as a redo.

A movie nobody has ever seen... lol

Cannonball Run or Smokey and the Bandit.

Hmmm, also Convoy.

Lots of nostalgia there. I watched the heck out of those movies when they came out.

Also agree with Signs. I love that movie.

5th Element Sequel has a script titled Mr. Shadow, Besson wants to do it but no news recently.

District 9 has a sequel idea but the writer/director hasn't written a script or at least hasn't said if he has.

Breakfast Club - leave it alone, no reboot or sequel could do it justice.

He-Man needs a reboot though I like Dolph's version for the mega-cheese it was.

Actually, The Stand could use a reboot.

I think it could be done a lot better if they stuck to the actual BOOK.

Like most movies.

Any of the Stephen King movies...

Pet Sematary
The Stand
The Langoliers
Cujo
Christine
Any and all of them and I’d be in the front row with a bag of popcorn.

That pic is from Airplane 2. How about a 3rd? Angie Tribeca has the same humor but not the edge of the Airplane movies.

I'd LOVE to see Farscape rebooted. With the advancement of CGI this show could be made a lot cheaper now. That's what killed it.

Yes to The Stand!

I watched the original a few weeks ago. I wished it had followed the book more closely and would love to see someone take another shot at it. The new IT movie showed it can be done and done well.

I thought it was well done. Some characters were melded together to reduce time. The only character that was missing was The Kid. I can see why. Raping Trash with a gun just doesn't play.

I would like to see the Dune trilogy stories redone with the plot and scenes matching the book to a T. I feel the previous movie versions just didn't get it right for me.

A sequel I'd like to see is Dances With Wolves.

We never do find out what happened to the Costner character when he rides away with his cherry.

And nobody knows what happened to the Sioux?

There's a post-script, but it's pretty vague.
I want to know what happened to those exact characters!

No seriously, I've had insomnia thinking about it.

Definitely in need of a sequel: ET!

What happend to ET when he got home?
Why did he have to phone home until the other aliens realized he was missing?
Did some being stuff-up and is going to get fired, or did nobody on his planet like him, so they'll bring him back to earth?

How did the kids grow up?
Did they never speak of it again, or did they go on talk shows only to be disbelieved, and they died young of overeating and substance abuse?
