President Trump said he likely will support a congressional effort to end the federal ban on marijuana, a major step that would reshape the pot industry and end the threat of a Justice Departmentcrackdown.

Trump has been fairly consistent on the issue going back to his Howard Stern days. His official position during the campaign, was that it is a states matter. This legislation does, in fact, return the responsibility to the individual state.

This is great news! He's going to pick up more voters who have supported and waited for this.
