Not a chance...but the foo fighters sometimes incorporate magnetically contained fusion plasma shields that surrounds there starships; both as a supposed means of propulsion and for offensive and defensive tactics.

The Earth's magnetic field or magnetosphere directs anything atoms with missing electrons (ions) to the North and South poles. These hit the air molecules high up in the atmosphere and cause Auroras

Cosmic rays can hit the atmosphere anywhere. These crash into air molecules, knock off a few electrons here and there and create a whole cascade of subatomic particles which help water to condense into clouds.

You are talking about the magnetosphere, I think.

The magnetosphere is not a phenomenon involving a sourceless display of magnetic energy. The precise dynamic of its origin is not fully understood, but we know that it relates to the way various materials in the Earths core, liquid metals and so on, interact together to produce magnetic fields.

Now, when we speak of a protective shield, what we are talking about is the magnetosphere being a baffle which prevents a decent chunk of the really harmful materials ejected out of the sun, from reaching all the way to the ground here on Earth. Obviously, we still get plenty of heat and light from the sun, and do have to be careful about how much sun we get, lest we do ourselves permanent damage through inattentiveness.

However, we are not talking about some sort of literal force field, which could theoretically defend us from sci-fi weaponry. Its a naturally occurring result of interactions at the core level of our planet. As for how UFO might interact with the magnetosphere... its really a little moot isn't it? We do not even know how they operate in our atmosphere, because as far as anyone can prove in any relevant fashion, we have no hands on knowledge which is definitive on the subject. How then we could EVER figure out how the things are supposedly interacting with the magnetosphere, the outer edge of which is some distance from the surface of our world?

I imagine the question is whether there are plasma lifeforms
living in this layer of the atmosphere...

or whether the entire layer has sentient-like properties.

The first question -- who knows? I don't.

The second question sounds a little too "gaia hypothesis"
for most people.. maybe even me.

Just thought that I'd clarify, that this seems to be what
you are bringing up.

If it does have sentient-like properties and perhaps consciousness and intellect, then there is no doubt in my mind why it would be trying to escape from us, not towards us, but perhaps the protective magnetosphere is holding them in? (tongue in cheek)

LOL!

Well in my opinion the sun is pretty ferocious for unshielded
plasma lifeforms, if any. At least young ones.

So they would need metallic shielding or some really ferocious
EM fields to protect themselves, if they wanted to take to the
void of space to escape us.

If I was them, I would want to escape us.. and this very thing
is a possible reason for why the "golden age of UFOs ended".

There are other, less dramatic explanations for that however..

I will say though, that I did mention this concept to the "occult
scientists" when I wrote a paper on the subject of plasma orbs
and artificial intelligence and they got QUITE excited.

So who knows.. I have no idea whether I'm brilliant or a total
head case. Probably both. Or maybe just a head case.

JMHO, but I don't think there's any protective shield around the earth that has any impact whatsoever on the UFO's. Based upon years of pondering the UFO topic, its pretty clear to me that the only way Space Aliens in UFO's could possibly be visiting Earth on a regular basis is through the use of Portals. I don't know if they create the portals themselves or if the portals are occurring naturally.

maybe the OP is referring to the Star Wars defense system perhaps??? I recall so vividly that fascinating video from the Science Channel program, "Nasa's Unexplained Files" from about 4 years ago, that showed a ufo flying the curvature of the earth when suddenly there is this huge flash of light, and the ufo takes off at break neck speeds out of there, as a blast of light comes up towards the ufo from earth.

I think some of these videos explain quickly by a scientist for the layperson.

We will have to tell the truths about the Global Pyramids and their real use.....because they are our Global Planetary Protection grid when activated.....they build a force-field around us on a Planetray scale....this is why they were built IMHO....we can keep you inside or outside....no neutral dimension craft can penetrate....meaning we can trap anyone we want to apprehend inside our spheres protection grid and they cannot get out.....we can stop-drop-roll turn on our grid and then clean house of all unwanted off-planet influences at our leisure while at the same time stopping any help from getting in to them.The work must be proportional to the return....there is a GLOBAL catalyst behind the Pyramids.

We should eventually have the wherewithal too develop the technology that generates protective magnetic bow shock fields for satellites, spacecraft or perhaps even future settlements on other planets; so as least to protect them from the ravages of the solar wind.

Superb information TrueBrit Thanks so much. I was sort of wondering if the Earth protective shield, well if it could be some type of life within itself, and those orbs / lights in the sky we see zooming around are bits of the shield that have become for whatever reason detached from the whole and floated down to pretty much ground level

Erno with all respect how can you know for sure? I really love your certainty within this field but where is this knowledge coming from?

Know where you are coming from regarding the portals. It has crossed my mind too, indeed many of our sightings were on energy (ley0 line that sort of joined in one location. Saying that I'm more investigating the idea that the ufos are literally living above us in the protective shield where the Soyuz almost burnt up during falling back to Earth the other week. Like the protective shield is a life form within itself and the ufo orbs / lights in the sky that we see above our heads are actually bits of this protective shield that fall off and tumble / float down to Earths surface
