The FBI was on Wolfe all the way back in 2017. This has been
going on for a while, hopefully they have a few other domino's
to fall soon.

To better understand this story, we need to find the article in the NYT
on or about April 3rd, 2017 by this Ali reporter.

I am taking a wild guess that many of these stories were about Carter Page.

Now we know at least in part how these people have been operating

But Ms. Ali Watkins doesn't cite any un-named source (who would be James Wolfe) in that article.

So, Ali Watkins is a sock puppet for the CIA. Going back go her college days. The story she broke back then was a "burn" of someone inside the CIA. And her next assignment was to sleep with the head of senate intel's security, to find out if he knew they were still being hacked.

They seized her phone records going back years. Yeah, I bet they did; confiscating all record of calls to Langley, calls to Moscow.

Have to make her look like a victim. Otherwise someone will get her bank records and see that her paychecks are printed in Reston, Virginia.

Wolfe was married to a high ranking FBI officer.

I find myself wondering if anyone encouraged him to do some of this. He'll probably be inclined to tell it if so since it looks like a jail term is definitely staring him in the face. I read the indictment over fairly quickly and in at least one instance he offered to be a source for the reporter. No one was twisting his arm. So...what was his motive? Reporter 4 I think that one was.

Yes, wondering what his motives were in leaking all of this?

A 3 year long affair with the one reporter might explain a bit,
but then there are the two other reporters he was leaking to.
Imagine how his FBI wife feels about now. Did she know?

Possibly a Democrat Senator urging Wolfe to leak things damaging to the opposing political party and President. Doing it "for the good of the party". Mark Warner is the first one who comes to mind. Isn't he a top-dog on the Senate Intel Committee?
