how is the new stadium? is parking that bad? i read how snyder blocked off local streets that you could park on. im a redskins fan, but i only went to the old stadium.

i live by the meadowlands, and i go to events here, and there are secret local parking spots. BUT now, during football, those secret spots, are blocked off, and they have shuttles from them to the stadium, and charge 20 bucks.

that secret spot is still a 25 minute walk to the stadium, but saves us what, 40 bucks to park?

i also read there are no water fountains in the new stadium, is that true?

Heck, Independence Hall is in Philly. The Liberty Bell and all.

The NFL botched this one from jump street; the original sin was rubbing Trump’s nose in the USFL anti-trust litigation and he has never gotten past that.

This is a political winner for DJT. He’s squeezing blood from a turnip because the NFL’s commissioner is truly feckless . Again, I’m an NFL junkie and would be hard pressed to EVER give it up, but schadenfreude is real and I take a great deal of pleasure in watching ‘Jerruh’ and Goodell kiss the ring. My only hangup is that this is the Eagles and not the Cowpokes; the Cowpokes suffer from the same level of organizational dysfunction/malfeasance as anyone and would let this bleed into their season, on the other hand, the Eagles are a well-oiled machine that is unlikely to let politics affect their season. Which players? Because if you were a fan you would know that is total bs. Probably the most charitable and community based team in football. Malcom Jenkins meets with police officers, community leadership events, youth, has been to congress, Chris long donated his entire salary, Carson Wentz is giving millions to charity and physical taking part in charity work, Ashlon Jeffrey gave a semi truck of toys to needy families during Christmas, it goes on and on.

They won the super bowl after 7 star players hurt had season ending injuries because they aren't shallow and are a band of brothers.

Are you trolling me? That #hole is 20+ years old and Dan Snyder would charge you to piss in a port-a-john — it’s a terrible ‘game day experience’ and that’s all on Snyder. I used to take a short stretch of 50 through SE D.C. (Anacostia) and would occasionally pass RFK trying to find my way, but that’s as close as I ever been to the old stadium. The old guard laments RFK’s game day experience and I heard that Jerry Garcia and the Dead were big fans of playing there. RFK Stadium is sadly missed.

D.C. city council will NEVER let Snyder bring a team back into the city with “Redskins” as the team name. Outside of Snyder funding the ENTIRE project, the Redskins will be playing in Maryland. Maybe somewhere off 66 in the Dulles area in Virginia. Wherever the new stadium is located, you can bet your last dollar Snyder will weasel himself into some ‘pay for play’ politics in having it sited.

It's a disgrace how much those grown men get to play a game.

We should be paying doctors and teachers that kind of money.

I played football in school. I like playing it.

Less than 10 players were attending the White House event and the rest of the team is still in the DC area all day today. How in the blue hell does cancellation of a White House visit which scarcely any of the team was going to be at anyway lead to the cancellation of community service events totally unrelated to the WH visit and unassociated with the White House. So, not only are many of the NFL players whiny little bitches, they are also liars.

The amount of respect the NFL has pissed away over the past 5 years between a horrible, horrible commissioner's office, Colin Kaepernick, the increase of thugs league-wide, bad rule changes, and now the epitome of prima-donna politically charged tantrums will bite them in the ass down the road. It's time for a professional rugby league in this country...
