There can be only one!!!
Probably it would be my battered old Ed Brown 1911 commander with the 8 round Chip McCormick mags. In .45ACP.

I will take the Swith & Wesson 460 for $1500 Alex. No matter where on Earth I travel in whatever apocalypse imaginable, I know I will be able to just about take down any land animal that exists as a threat, the lesser of which would be human. Plus it can fire four different standardized cartridges. It used to be the .44 Magnum, but I enjoy the thought of the versatility behind effectively being able to fire different rounds.
In the hands of a professional, there is nearly no task that can go undone with this feat of engineering requiring the joint efforts of three quality and established companies.

Try it today at your local indoor range

Hahah yep it's very sexy!!

Not to get too offtopic my fav gun is the Styer TMP:

I'd also like to throw in a Fostech Origin 12 shotgun:

And the KRISS Vector Gen II CRB:

Well if those all count in this discussion then I enter the ZF-1:

My go to gun would be the CZ 75 SP 01, 9mm double action. Has a 16+1 clip and a sweet trigger. One of the most accurate guns I have fired right out of the box with no mods. Fires all kinds of 9mm ammo, expensive, cheap, reloads without jams. it is the kalashnakov of hand guns. Can't go wrong with it.

Agreed. I used to have the very pistol. Tac driver it was, and man it was sturdy as hell for a 9mm.

To add to my above post, i would happily settle for a Beretta 93r with burst fire, but i just discovered this full auto CZ-75 that seems, functionally, pretty badass:

Ruger Security 6, .357Mag with a 6 inch nickel barrel, pachmeyr grips and an iron sight. Nothing fancy for me.

I'm not a fan of semi autos...I don't like the way the slides move in recoil. Personal preference I guess. But with 6 well placed shots I should be able to drop what I'm aiming at.

Security Six is a nice pistol! I owned one for many years. I sold it (another one I wish I'd kept) to buy an engine for a truck.

Sig Sauer P226. Accurate, common caliber (easy to find ammo), high cap, ergonomic, and battle tested.

I love mine. It eats anything I throw at it. Loads that sting your hand in a GP100 or SW686 are just a heavy push in the Coonan. Compressed load with a 125g JHP? No problem!

I had the same reaction the first time I saw a Coonan. I had to have one. And now I do.
