first, let me say...
I sincerely hope that that simple outpatient procedure didn't become a major health issue for the first lady...
which is what that little voice in my head keeps telling me might be the reason she is not around.
I've read some pretty crazy ideas online... everything from she took off with her lover to she had major plastic surgery...
personally, I like crazy... so here are some of my crazy ideas of what happened to the first lady....

1. the ghosts of first ladies past have come to her, shared all their favorite hiding places in the white house they have found from the forgotten tunnels under the white house to the secret hidden rooms. she spends her days hidden away, while the ghosts of first ladies share the many ways they found to cope with the crappy lifestyle their over ambitious husbands forced on them when they decided they wanted to be president. If the president wants to find his missing wife, he must stop bitching and accusing the kitchen staff of stealing his leftover kfc two in the morning and just come to the kitchen around midnight sit quietly in the dark, he will see his chicken stealing wife climbing out of the corner kitchen cupboard.

2. The North Korean dictator really wants to meet Trump badly, but he wants a little leverage. So, he arranged for the first lady to be kidnapped and told trump that he'd get to see his wife at their meeting. Trump, knowing how big of a pain in the butt his wife can be when she isn't happy and that she hasn't been happy since he was elected then proceeded to call off their meeting. And, little rocket man has found himself in a bit of a pickle. She indeed has become a major pain, a very expensive pain for which trump now holds him responsible for her safety and well being, promising to nuke north korea out of existence if anything happens to her and he is forced to agree to full nuclear disarmament and destruction of all thing that might produce such weapons before trump will meet with him and claim his wife. Thus, a nuclear free unified Korea will not be credited to the great deal maker Trump but rather to a first lady's great ability to be brave enough to make herself a royal nuisance to her captors.

3. the first lady is and always has been a russian operative and the investigation has blown her cover... you can find her, along with her family, safely in a quaint little russian village.

4. it was discovered that she has been spending alot of time at the winter white house shifting through the papers and turning evidence over to mueller's team... she's now in protective custody...

She's had a kidney operation. 22 days is nothing.

It was a noninvasive procedure.

“It’s like literally an outpatient procedure,” said Dr. Eleanor D. Lederer, a professor at the University of Louisville School of Medicine and past president of the American Society of Nephrology. “You go in, you have it done, you lie in bed for a while to keep the blood vessel from bleeding and then you go home.”
www.nytimes.com...

I'm actually surprised at the non invasive quote. I worked in an OR for 10 years. That procedure is invasive. I know because I've actually participated in similar procedures. It's not as invasive as opening the patient up but it's still invasive.

LMAO, Hillary Clinton, almost fainted at the 2016 9/11 ceremony , because she was campaigning while having pneumonia, and you people went on and on, about her health, like she was on her death bed...there was even a thread on "does Hillary Clinton wear diapers".

The hypocrisy is thick. 3 weeks to recover from a kidney surgery? A little lengthy for a minor surgery. Perhaps she is using it as an excuse to stay away from her cheat husband.

Is all fairness Hillary went on to excrete green goo in public, fall down a flight of stairs and has been basically carried everywhere she goes. Also has been seen with a huge bulk under her clothes like some sort of cage.

When a fraction of that happens to Melenia in public I’ll join this Bunco group. Till then I’m playing poker with the boys to talk about you girls.

I was a stage actor and did the ATS live radio shows, but I am introverted. There is a barrier between you and the audience. You can see and keep it in mind. Mosh pit or crowded amusement park, nope. No barrier. The performing act for the mosh pit or a costumed character for the park, okay because of the barrier.

It is a weird distinction but it works. Now an up close street magician...you would really have to focus on the tricks to forget that you are completely enclosed by a crowd or position yourself with an obstacle behind you.

But introvertedness and creativity often go hand in hand. To date the largest live crowd I have performed in front of is about 117,000 and who knows how many on TV while with the UT Marching Band. Sure seemed like a whole lot more though.

Gosh I hope she's ok.

She's not.

My opinion, Donald put her in the hospital. That was a tough week for the Don, North Korea backing off, Mueller coming on strong, rumors of pregnant Playboy bunnies and porn star payoffs swirling. He lost it. Melania probably said something snide about something and he just clocked her, kicked in the back when she was down. I've seen it many times. She probably had facial contusions too.

That's this lady's gut feeling.

I would say you may be suffering from gas or explosive diarrhea based on the symptoms

Trump has assaulted a previous wife in the past, Ivana had clumps of her hair pulled out by Donald in a fit of rage

Imagine if Michelle Obama or Hillary Clinton had completely dropped out of public sight for 22, now 23 days in a row? Now you're poo-pooing (on a conspiracy theory site, mind you!) anyone dare question her whereabouts and safety? What a joke.

Surgery for a benign kidney condition..probably laparoscopic surgery
Presumption below based on real-life experience.
That would most likely involve internal drainage tubes . If so , doctor's orders are "do not go anywhere other than my office for checkups and STAY in bed" until they are removed . Never take a chance on getting them infected or getting them pulled out. That turns life-threatening really , really quick.
This could be up to a year as the drainage has to be lower than a set amount before they are removed.

Please look up the term "monomania"

Kidney transplant patients can be on a stationary bike in their hospital rms in 5 days after. It depends.

I know....

Trump has put up with more BS than any president I can remember in history. I am positive that ANY Republican winning the white house against Hillary would have had the same toxic situation.

I have seen bashing coming out against Melania, even criticizing her choice of shoes. These disruptive liberals are not good for society, I do not blame her for wanting to not be a part of this chaos the liberals and Democrats are creating. I see a total collapse of our society in the future, fueled by people who believe anyone who believes differently than they do is substandard or evil. The normal Conservatives have never been as bad as the new liberals in this matter. The numbers of over the edge liberals is getting too high and that is a problem for society.

I just went back and reread the article supplied by gortex. Thanks for the article link btw. The description of the procedure is the same procedure that I participated in on many occasions during my time working in the OR. While the procedure usually requires a short hospital stay and can be described as reletively easy/simple, it is by no means non invasive. I'm shocked that a doctor would describe it in that way.

The descripton given in the article makes the procedure sound a lot simpler than it actually is. They are accurate in their explanation but in overly simple terms.

www.nytimes.com...

A thin tube catheter is inserted into a vessel in the leg and into the main vessel feeding the kidney.

They are describing the femoral artery as a vessel. Technically that's true but it is a major blood vessel. After accessing the femoral artery with a needle, they will feed a wire up the artery to the area of interest. They would then have to push some contrast (x ray dye) into the vessel (most likely done under fluoroscopy) to verify they are in the correct place. Then the insert whatever material they are using stop blood flow to that area. More contrast is pushed to verify that the procedure was successful. The patient is usually required to lie flat for a number of hours to prevent bleeding from the area the femoral artery was accessed.

This is why I'm shocked that a doctor would call this non invasive. It may be considered a routine surgery but it is not non invasive. It is most decidedly invasive and can have serious complications.

They should probably be using the description "minimally invasive surgery" rather than "non invasive" since non invasive implies no incision or removal of tissue.
Surgery in and of itself is invasive no matter how minor.

Actually there's no term non invasive surgery. It's non invasive procedures. Like Chiropractic or water therapies.
Then there's minimally invasive surgery which involves an incision but minimal trauma like a tube in a vien.

And.....the people saying that stuff about Obama's wife were wrong too. The thing with Obama, she wanted to be first lady, It doesn't appear that Melania is very enthused with that kind of lifestyle, she is more interested in just bringing up her kid. She seems to have tried to retire from the Rat Race and just wants to be a mother now.

I fear the worst for Melania....

I have not known a president who has told the whole truth since I have been around. They are in politics...most politicians always twist things to make themselves and their policies look good. Taking that out of context as to it's effect on Melania is what my post was about.

I doubt if she was even enthused about going into the White house and being put on display as a belonging of the country. I only know a few women that would even be interested in that kind of thing and I do not think of them as people I would be interested in being around. This presidency was Trump's dream, not malania's dream.

There was not nearly as much attacks on Obama's wife's lifestyle and marital relationship by the MSM as there is on Melania. Melania is not a lawyer either, She has not been trained in Ad Hominum tactics. MSM has been acting like a gossip column lately, not a news source.

I am not just disgusted with the way Liberals are acting, I am getting disgusted with how society is acting lately. I have respect for the President no matter who they are while they are president, They are the elected head of our country. If Hillary would have been elected president, I would be backing her or at least remaining silent about some things. I respect the office of the President and whomever fills it.
