While on one hand, Jay and Silent Bob being a integral part of my entertainment consumption as a teen, I have no idea how this will pan out.

Men in their 40's acting in the same manner might not be the greatest choice. However Kevin Smith is a really decent at telling a story and I imagine there will be something of his own stamped on this.

Looking forward to it.

I graduated high school in 02. The last week of school before graduation, everyday was designated with it's own theme, formal day, sports day, ect. Then we had superhero day, everybody dressed up like the usual's, superman, batman, spider-man, ect...

Me and my cousin came dressed as Jay and Silent Bob, he was slimmer and had the perfect long haired blond wig, with the beanie and the yellow ski jacket. I was a fat kid and got my step dads spot on match dark green trench coat and white baseball cap. It was hilarious, we made the cover of the senior page in the yearbook. We stayed in character too, he'd rip and rhyme Jay's lines and I didn't say a word all day, until about 2 o'clock after it just got old...

...the best part was (other than the vice principle nearly havin a heart attack when he saw me walkin in wearin a trench coat) ...was that not one of our classmates knew who we were, they hadn't seen the movie, nobody got the joke... except for our extremely cool homeroom teacher, who busted out dyin laughing as soon as he saw us.

Meeting Eliza Dushku was still one of the highlights of my life, hehe... In person, she just has this..."aura" is the only way to describe it. Even my wife was like...."Damn...."

Loved that movie though, still one of my favorites. And Mark Hamil's appearance in it is hysterical!
