Thanks Pete, a real reply
It is my intention to lay the bait first, then wrap it up

As for de-evolution, I asked a question then said I believed that when certain genetic information is destroyed, we see de-evolution happening

You are not required to believe or accept that as fact, just sharing my opinion....

And that’s all fine and good. You’re more than welcome to share your opinions. In fact it’s encouraged. Likewise, nfind ut oersinslky encumbant to point out these little oddities for the people who don’t post for fear of getting caught in their crossfire or just don’t know the subject mattter enough to think that what you outlined in your OP is fact backed up by, for example, the NAS. Particularly so when you haven’t actually demonstrated a loss of information, which genes were altered sand what were the functions of those genes pre experiment and post experiment.

With that in mind, I’ll withhold any further critique until you support your statements. Unless of course you don’t actually deliver. I’ll be courteous enough to give you the benefit of the doubt for now though.

See the flue shot doesn't kill the flue bacteria

Flu (as in influenza) is a virus, not a bacteria. Also, that's not really what vaccinations do..

It's a metaphor an analogy, it's never going to be perfect
That's the nature of metaphors and analogies

Anyway, here is a link to live science

It's called "how do vaccines work"

Enjoy the read
That’s why science doesn’t use metaphors and analogies. They are better suited for religious fairytales.

I asked for evidence of evolution in the last thread, it didn't appear, it went nowhere because none were offered, none relevant
Please go read the thread

As for evolution, no what we see is adaptation,Mao new information was added
I like the term de-evolution, right or wrong

I can wait, watch the wheels turn, please dig your hole

Touché woodster, science uses repetable observable and testable evidence
Fairytails and faith, funny you should mention that, got any repetable observable and testable evidence so I don't think you are a fairy tail, religious fundamentalist

I am still waiting

Touché Raggs Touché. Its your thread, so its up to you to show the evidence before we can consider your OP assertion.

Like Jerry Maguire almost said, 'SHOW ME THE EVIDENCE!!!!!'

Now show us the Padawan deflection.

Genetically engineering something to be weaker and more susceptible to being destroyed I would think is de-evolving it

Let's tear it up, gotta be 24 pages worth of bleating evolutionists

I wont bother deconstructing arguments that other people have already deconstructed. I'll just point out that engineering a weaker flu virus would actually be evolution. We are evolving a virus for our own purposes. This is no different to our breeding (evolving)Turkey's with lots of breast meat-it weakens the Turkeys when considered as a wild species, but it benefits us, which is all that was intended. Saying the Turkey has devolved from its wild state overlooks the purpose of that evolution.

You are the one who admitted in my thread that your whole outlook is based on faith not science though.
Why are you pretending to make a scientific argument in this thread? Seems daft and odd to me.

You even admitted in my thread that all you have is faith lol

Ok so
There was this experiment, the mega plate
Some bacteria was added to agar on a mega plate, antibiotics were also added in sections and left
The bacteria started to grow where there was no antibiotics, not where there was
Over time the bacteria started to grow where the antibiotics was positioned
Wa-la, magic, evolution or slight of hand or just nature

Does anybody get a flue shot?
See the flue shot doesn't kill the flue bacteria, it being the flue still attacks the immune system.
The flue shot prepares the body to tackle the virus by preparing it, by introducing a weakened version of the flue into the body. The weakened virus is quickly overwhelmed and the body is then prepared for the real thing when it attacks the body in future
Isn't science and medicine great.
I don't know why some people hate, live in fear of science, but they do
So what happens is a real vibrant flue strain is grown, genetically engineered to be weaker and introduced into the body, the body attacks the weakend flue strain and is prepared for future attacks, cool?

So like the flue shot, of an engineered weakend flue virus, the bacteria didn't evolve, it was attacked by the antibiotics and became a weaker version of the bacteria
The bacteria lost genetic information, was weakend, became susceptible to other attacks, but obviously wasn't attacked by anything else in a controlled environment

So, is becoming weaker, losing genetic information, is that really evolution?
There is no such thing as de-evolution, but should there be

Genetically engineering something to be weaker and more susceptible to being destroyed I would think is de-evolving it

Anyway, the experiment some say proves evolution
m.youtube.com...

For mine, proves de-evolution

Let's tear it up, gotta be 24 pages worth of bleating evolutionists

You are bang on the money...and yes there is such a thing as devolution...Humankind is constantly undergoing it....expeditiously I might add....yes this model proves it...you have reverse extrapolated the model and you now see how it works on a greater genetic landscape.
