Got the original 8 track...
"Ever girl crazy bout a sharp dressed man"
The way I remembered it
And just played it to make sure I was not a victim of ME
Certified , verified , sanctified.

I have heard this song hundreds of times. It's always been 'every girl crazy'.

I don't know if you've done a thread on Ed McMahon, but this is the one that i can't believe!

Ed McMahon never worked for Publishers Clearing House. He was a spokesman for American Family Publishers. McMahon never left the studio to ambush families, and he never held a giant check.

www.forbes.com...

I remember Publishers Clearing House. I would have bet on it. Strange, how word association can effect memory.

What's next- Mickey Mouse was created by Warner Brothers?!

Hi Pearlj.

What would help the Mandellla Effected, would be just one, from amongst the thousands of bar-band singers, who could affirm that he always sang the song the way you remember it.

Find just one, among thousands of ship and flight navigators, that confirm that countries or continents have shifted.

Why do you suppose that none have come forth, so far?

Anyone heard of the ME where, at one time, you could actually understand the lyrics in Bob Dylan's songs?

Me neither.

I would have guessed "everybody's crazy" out of memory.

Maybe I'm just more gender progressive

As soon as I saw this thread title I sang the lyric myself as "Every girl..."

Why?

Because that has always been the lyric. It was the lyric when I bought the album when it came out and it was the lyric when I saw them at Milton Keynes bowl.

Yet another case of faulty memory syndrome.

I don't really know ZZ Top.

I know Ministry though. Where's the Ministry thread you were gonna post?

I have seen ZZ Top a few times including a "secret" gig they did at the Marquee Club in London. Always been "Every girl".

Every girl crazy 'bout a sharp dressed man. 100 percent.

They usually sang about girls. Not women.

We Are The Champions. By Queen. Ends 'We are the champions'. On the studio recorded version. Although. Live versions ended 'of the world'. But. When singing along to the studio recording. It was always tempting to sing 'of the world'. But, the album it is from. News Of The World. It is the 2nd track in. Followed by Sheer Heart Attack. I think it probably had more to do with the flow of music in the album. It maybe seems out of context outside the album. Before you even bring it up.

So much skipped chaff.. ..I don't think I have anyone to respond to?

I think there was an Effected person and an unaffected person that politely said they only know "every girl crazy" - if so, thank you for that input.

Seems no one else here remembers it the way I do, which is odd - I asked a few people before making the thread to make sure it wasn't just me..

Either way - I suppose there's not a lot to talk about on this one..

Yep, you've got two pages of people telling you that you are more likely experiencing CRS (Can't Remember Sh#t) than Mandela Effect, better skip that chaff bro!

Let me know when this one changes, then you'll have something!

Why is it odd? You have demonstrated in post after post that you really do have a terrible memory.

Odd, in my timeline it was sung by a group dressed as a cop, cowboy, construction worker, a leather & stud biker, and American Indian, and the line was "...every guy's crazy bout a sharp dressed man..."

That is strange.............

I remember them, that's the Village Persons. They also sang YHCA.

I remember them as 'the village people' .

I'm afraid he just can't. It seems that he is in some kind of manic phase and in Mandela messiah mode at the moment. So there's no point arguing or telling him to chill out.
