I see this all the time. Depending on where you’re viewing the airplane from sometimes they look they’re almost standing still. Especially if you’re going in the opposite direction.

It only looks like it’s flying slow because the angle the person is viewing it from and a headwind. I used to live near Sea-Tac and airplanes would look like they were standing still over me when I was walking down the street.
Or, it’s a glitch in the matrix.
