I was just wondering what Government agency escorts British MP's and the PM as well as the Monarchy?

Is it Mi5 in their Blacked out Range Rovers? or 'Special Branch' Police?

I always thought it was Mi5, but wondered if i was right?

oh yeah i know that certain escorts like for the Prime Minister would be like SAS trained or whatever,
But i meant like when im walking around London, what agency are in those blacked out Range Rovers - Any ideas?

Even last week i saw a lil convoy of police motorbikes, 2 blacked out range rovers escorting a green Jaguar XJ.

Just like to know what agency their with, Always assumed it was Mi5 as they are the Security Service.

Okay I dont understand it but I was told there is an MI5 and MI6 and the MI6
is more of the guarding force while MI5 is black ops does that make since to anyone, he said MI5 special ops include assasinations like that of Rasputen??? and MI6 is more low key. He has gone on to remind me MI^ is also SIS

For MI5 and MI6, think FBI and CIA e.g. ones operations are home-based the others is outside the UK

So is that to say I understood him right MI6/SIS is the one Guarding.

I was told they officially cant do it , but like the CIA covert extractions are the norm, but I am still being told again MI6/SIS is the guarding element.
