The amount of people on here who bleat freedom but do not want women to have freedom to choose is bonkers.
Hypocritical dicks.

"Freedom" doesn't encompass everything. Some things are unethical, or immoral, or illegal. Most adults on the planet do not want to excercise those "freedoms".

I always ask pro-life people the same question.

Exactly how unwanted babies have you adopted?

It is always met with the "deer in headlights" look.

How many pro abortionists adopt?

Talking american kids not some flavor of the month adoption purebred?

"oh little Morning Crystal was found by monkey hunters in a tree in Gambia"

"So we need to get her into that pre daycare center that Angelina sent her kids"

But we passed up that white/black crack baby from Fresno.

But you want to limit women's freedom of choice.
To enslave women.

So when you tell this story to your children do you think they feel loved or lucky that their nickname is not "my little bean" or coceived inbetwwen jobs or boyfriends?

My mother had an abortion. It didn't affect me or her love and devotion to me one bit.

Your mother obviously had a compelling reason for the abortion. It wasn't simply because she didn't want to have a (another) child. Right?

What are you looking for here? My mother wasn't any different than the thousands of other women who chose to terminate an unwanted pregnancy.

This is not prohibiting abortions. It basically creates greater barriers for abortion services so they can't use facilities paid for with federal dollars, prevents abortion providers from being paid with federal dollars, etc.

The Federal Government isn't paying for facilities They are reimbursing clinic for federally reimbursable medical services like doctor's visits, pelvic and breast exams, STD tests and treatments, birth control prescriptions and referrals to specialists.

So there should be no problem divesting the two activities if the abortion services are already truly separate. What's the issue?

As I said, the issue is privacy and safety.

Some things are unethical, or immoral, or illegal.

Forcing your ethics or morality onto another is illegal. Your freedom ends where mine begins.

If the clinic is using tax dollars, it becomes the public's business and interest.

Ok, but how comes I don't see you and others complaining about Viagra? Your tax dollars are used to buy Viagra and other erectile dysfunction meds, to be more exact $125 million per year. -- LINK ---

So why is it ok to use your tax dollars to help men have an erection to have a more fulfilling life, but you deny women the same right? When more than half of pregnancies are caused whilst using contraception? (thus NOT the woman's fault). Why are your tax dollars used to regulate women reproductive rights but not men?

and.... when a women walks into an er in the middle of a miscarriage asking for assistance..
it might be a good time to mention abortion as an option, since, I mean, the baby is doomed anyways..
not keep sending her away telling her to take ibprofen for the pain till she ends up dropping on your er's floor after you refuse her the third time.... by that time, she's feverish and infection has set in. to bad she didn't make it out the door, isn't it? too bad she didn't drop in her own living when no one was home, huh?? maybe then she could have paid the ultimate price for her failure to carry that precious little baby to term like god ordained her to!!!

Most taxpayers in this country do not want any of the money they send to the Federal Government, to be used for compensating clinics that support killing babies, before they are born.

Yet you are ok spending money killing babies and children in foreign countries.......hmmmmph....I raise your thumbs up with a

Would you care to explain HOW that is carried out?

He's referring to war in the middle east. Republicans hate abortions but if the babies are born in the middle east, it's fine to drop bombs on them. That's his point.

BS! We aren't trying to take your abortions!

Just ain't paying for them anymore, unless you buy us guns, them maybe we can talk.

Your tax dollars don't pay for abortions on demand. They never have. Why do you persist with this lie?

I do believe that there are laws that protect those that have a moral belief that abortion is wrong from having to participate in the act... the hospital can't force them to do it, nor can they be forced to participate in any training for it.

you'd think that the same concept would protect the doctor who might just have just a strong belief that it is immoral and criminally negligent not to mention abortion when he views it as the best medical advice he could give a patient considering all the medical data he has.

Perhaps.

Honestly, when it comes to abortion, I think there's a violation of church & state.

Yes, I understand it's a stretch and some will gasp in horror. But, again, it's primarily God believers trying to force themselves politically on others.

God believers will be hard pressed to find anything in their good book that denounces abortion, unlike same sex relationships. So, while their forced birth mantra may be based in the idea of governing according to their religious supremacy, their written dogma doesn't back their rhetoric. And, as Christians, their stance is decidedly "un-Christlike".

However, as Americans I can't see how anyone doesn't agree that the government suppressing free speech under the threat of punishment is without any doubt a violation of the 1st Amendment. But we knew from his campaign that Trump was going to attack the 1st Amendment.

Also true.

But, I've been following Dominionism for a long time:

Dominionism is the theocratic idea that regardless of theological view, means, or timetable, Christians are called by God to exercise dominion over every aspect of society by taking control of political and cultural institutions. www.politicalresearch.org...

I'm pretty sure that Islam believes the same, and is why ISIS wants so much to establish their Caliphate.

Yes. Also true.

We currently have a man in the office of POTUS -- that plays to Dominionists for power & control.

Following pressure from pro-life Republicans in Congress ahead of the midterm elections, the Trump administration is reportedly planning to resurrect a Reagan-era rule banning federally-funded family planning clinics from discussing abortion with women.

That's a violation of the 1st Amendment.

Wrong. There is no first Amendment right to get federal funds for providing abortion services.
