GSC Game World Announce ..... S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 !!!

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl released in 2007 and as any veteran of the Zone will tell you was awesome , buggy but awesome , the scale of the map and the freedom of choice you had within the world was unprecedented at the time , I still remember the feeling of awe I felt the first time I watched a mutant cow running from a pack of dogs get thrown into the air and ripped apart by an anomaly it stumbled in to.... Awesome

So if there are any Stalkers left here on ATS I bring you Good News.
Today GSC Game World have announced that S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 is in development.

And a little Bad News.
The game has a release date of 2021.

Little is known about the game at the moment but just knowing S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 exists is enough for me , for now.

Nice, Fallout is my fave game franchise but I also love S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and some of the overhaul mods are really awesome. I also recently discovered there is a new American McGees Alice game in the works, there is a Patreon page but I'm not sure if I can post the link so I will refrain from doing so, it should be easy to find for anyone interested.

Ever try the ARMA3 stalker mod?

I never got ARMA 3 , was a big fan of Operation Flashpoint but ARMA 2 put me off the series so I didn't know about it, perhaps I'll get it on sale and try the mod.

FYI - speaking of mods.
There are several great mods that completely redo some of the STALKER games
Rekindle the interest in the series until 2021,
I just HAD to go through again with these fan redo mods

The "Call of Chernobyl" mod merges the trilogy playable real estate into one, unlocks all factions as playable, has a merged storyline with some hand made things and I believe there are plenty of mods being updated for compatibility with this particular mod, and "misery" has been adapted as well.

E3 starts Saturday and teaser trailers are being released , on the theme of S.T.A.L.K.E.R Vostok games has announced Fear the Wolves , a Stalker inspired battle royale which takes place in a deserted zone around the Chernobyl reactor.

Due for early access Steam release this summer and consoles next year this looks like an interesting and welcome addition to the battle royale genre.

Oh, the STALKER is one of my favorite games.
