The irony is deep in this thread to begin with. Any added in comments is icing on the cake.
Who killed him by the way?

I'm sure the Jewish trial had nothing to do with it...
Didn't the whole assembly call for his death for being a false prophet? Did the Jewish elders speak with Pilate and ask that he be judged by the court of law?
All that being said, at the end the blood is on Pilate's hand. But he wasn't the only one who wanted it, and many historians think the pressure from multiple parties actually led to it.

I think he's drunk-posting again. Why else would someone start a thread with themselves for all to see?

I'll be honest, we're going off of multiple different accounts that have been translated in many cases hundreds of years ago.
My whole point is maybe we shouldn't use that for foreign policy.
There are plenty of different views that could be supported by some of these accounts that are thousands of years old. See the problem?
It's 2018, I don't want my taxes going to loosely interpreted text that is 2,000~ years old.
Who is trying to use what as foreign policy ? How ? Where ?
There is only history . See my first remark of this post.

No need to scurry away from it. The US is primarily Christians, and many of whom are not only willing, but elated to involve us in essentially a holy war in the Middle East.
Many comments on this board support that.
