Disney is a horrifically conservative system, (it is what it is) and they freak out on things that do not fit the Little Mermaid image of wholesomeness.
That ~may~ have been true in 1960, but today Disney is the antithesis of that statement.
There is nothing conservative or wholesome about Disney.

The Crucifixion of Roseanne Barr, May 29th, 2018
So after making my post on it here, I immediately rejoined the fray and was shadowbanned on Twitter for attempting to communicate with/to Roseanne.
This is absolutely FANTASTIC news, imho. They are so stupid, Q is right. Let's hope he's right about Jeff Sessions..
because if indictments come down around the silent coup attempt to either remove or somehow so discredit and delegitimize the duly elected POTUS, run by political HACKS like Comey, Brennan, Lynch, etc etc. and if a grand jury is empanelled in the wake of the IG and Huber Report - then Jeff Sessions will be heralded as a GENIUS for recusing himself form the whole Russia investigation. Could, I repeat could, be a BRILLIANT move on Sessions part.
But that aside, in this thing with Roseanne's show cancellation - BIG MISTAKE!
She is a comedian, and there was absolutely no racist intent in her tweet about Jarrett, at all. None. Zero, nada, zilch. In fact most of the USA, if they were honest, never thought of Valerie Jarrett as being black for a moment.
Their outrage is hypocritical and a double standard, but it's also entirely inauthentic and disingenuous. Racist tweet my ass. It was a joke, nothing more.
And now they'll come to quickly realize that they all cucked themselves to oblivion, while ABC can't take it back, the loss of their best hit show, and because DISNEY will never realize Star Wars greatness, ever. They've failed. Blew the Star Wars brand because they never even bothered to read Joseph Campbell and the pattern of the hero's journey.
They are all dimwits in the great pretention that they were so offended, because they were told to be by the MSM, when in truth there needn't have been any racist interpretation at all, except that which is assumed or projected in some big lie everyone's supposed to tell themselves.
Love, just LOVE that Twitter shadowbanned me for trying to chime in on it!
This is like my own personal Super Delux Alex Jones moment in the mind-war, however small or irrelevant it might appear to be.

Keep in mind that ABC is buying Fox.
They supposedly have a plan to spin-off FoxNews but what if they don't ?

How close is that to actually happening? The justice department and FCC tend to not approve these Mega mergers.
There was another one in the works last year where if the merger occurred CNN had to be spun off. I don't know what the status of that merger proposal is.

Last I saw, Comcast was putting in a bid to buy Fox, trying to undermine Disney's acquisition.

Comcast wants to become a content provider, and not just a cable service. Of course, that raises its own set of anti-trust concerns, particularly surrounding net neutrality and whether they would try to place competitors' channels at a disadvantage.

The OIG continues its important ongoing work, including the following audits, evaluations, inspections, and special reviews: • Actions by the Department of Justice and the FBI in Advance of the 2016 Election. The review will examine whether DOJ and the FBI followed policies or procedures in connection with, or in actions leading up to or related to, the FBI Director’s public announcement on July 5, 2016, and the Director’s letters to Congress on October 28 and November 6, 2016, and whether certain underlying investigative decisions were based on improper considerations. The review also will examine allegations that the FBI Deputy Director should have been recused from participating in certain investigative matters; that DOJ’s Assistant Attorney General for Legislative Affairs improperly disclosed non-public information and/or should have been recused from participating in certain matters; that other DOJ and FBI employees improperly disclosed nonpublic information; and that decisions regarding the timing of the FBI’s release of certain
Freedom of Information Act
(FOIA) documents on October 30 and
November 1, 2016, and the use of a Twitter
account to publicize this release, were
influenced by improper considerations.
The review will not substitute the OIG’s
judgment for the judgments made by
the FBI or the Department regarding the
substantive merits of investigative or
prosecutive decisions. If circumstances
warrant, the OIG will consider including
other issues that may arise during the
course of the review.
