Nellie Ohr's call sign is KM4UDZ. According to the FCC ULS, she is only a technician class. There are three classes, Technician, which is first; General, which is second; and Amateur Extra, which is third and last. There are one or two other classes which were grand fathered in but are not primarily given only renewed.

A technician class is limited to 10 meter, 6 meter, 2 meter, 1.25 meter and 70 centimeter on up frequencies. The High Frequency classes are only for the General and Amateur Extra, High Frequency normally is recognized as 160, 75/80, 60. 40, 20, 17, 15, 12 and 10 meters or shortwave to the uninitiated. General and AE are also allowed to use lower frequencies also.

Technician class such as Nellie's allows her to primarily get on 2 meter and 70 centimeter analog and digital. An amateur could use a recognized but not very popular digital mode to communicate clandestine information if they so desired. When using digital talk groups, usually all the other stations on frequency are listed and one could go from there to initiate communication. The higher frequencies like 2 meter and 70 centimeter are usually FM and don't travel far without repeaters or internet help. She would also be allowed to use Echo-Link by phone and would be able to talk all over the world off of different repeaters. Its possible she could have done this...

I hope its more than chatter. Over the past 15 months, I've sent WhiteHouse.gov at least 30 requests for the U.S. Government to investigate CNN as a traitor to our nation.
