Oh right. I thought Mueller handed the Cohen investigation off because it was nothing to do with the Russia collusion investigation? Or was that last week's story.
Huh? This has nothing to do with Mueller or the US Attorney for SDNY's/FBI's investigation. The information came from Michael Avenatti, lawyer for Stormy Daniels.
I can't keep up with your propaganda.
It's never once stopped you from speaking out of ignorance though so... kudos?
Just watching this tool speak triggers my BS detector.
So just because it is a lawyer saying it's true we should believe it without proof?
www.thedailybeast.com...
The funds, Avenatti suggested, may have been used to reimburse Cohen for the $130,000 hush payment made to Daniels in exchange for her silence about an alleged affair with Trump. Intrater was also a donor to the Republican National Committee, where Cohen served as a deputy finance chairman. In June 2017, Intrater donated $35,000 to a joint fundraising committee for the RNC and Trump’s reelection campaign. He also gave a quarter-million dollars to Trump’s inaugural committee. (Previously, Intrater gave only to Democrats like Gov. Bill Richardson and Sen. Ted Kennedy.) Intrater and Vekselberg have also been active investors in the U.S. technology and media sectors. Columbus Nova Technology Partners was the first and only outside investor in Gawker Media, before the company was felled by a lawsuit funded by Trump ally Peter Thiel. Columbus Nova also backed the record label of former Def Jam boss Lyor Cohen, invested in the streaming music pioneer Rhapsody, and put money behind a gig-economy site, a “genetic risk” firm, and a company called Tomfoolery Incorporated.
You know this Michael Avenatt guy is pretty interesting. He and Stormy came out of nowhere here.
While in college and later in law school, Michael worked at a political opposition research and media firm run by Rahm Emanuel (who later became White House Chief of Staff and is presently the Mayor of Chicago). During his time there, Michael worked on over 150 campaigns in 42 states, including multiple gubernatorial and congressional campaigns (i.e. Joe Biden’s U.S. Senate Campaign).
So this is becoming less and less about Daniels/Trump. IF there was illegality between Cohen, his company and varying clients, wouldn't this fall back onto Mueller?
We're almost full circle here with the weakest link being Mueller.

I wonder if this will turn out like the last story from this guy, where MSNBC had to pull their story.
I could be mistaken, but I don't believe Avenatti was the source of the MSNBC story where they made the rather significant f up of mistaking wiretap with pen register/trap and trace.
More fake news might damage his credibility.
It could. Or... maybe like Trump, his credibility won't ever suffer among those who want to believe him no matter how much "fake news" he puts out.
Again, I don't think this necessarily has anything to do with "collusion" during the election. I suspect it's more about peddling influence after the election.
From October 2016 through January 2018, Mr. Cohen used his First Republic account to engage in suspicious financial transactions totaling $4,425,033.46.
•Chief among these suspicious financial transactions are approximately $500,000 in payments received from Mr. Viktor Vekselberg, a Russian Oligarch with an estimated net worth of nearly $13 Billion. Mr. Vekselberg and his cousin Mr. Andrew Intrater routed eight payments to Mr. Cohen through a company named Columbus Nova LLC (“Columbus”) beginning in January 2017 and continuing until at least August 2017.

No. It's a federal investigation. Do you have wonder if maybe, just maybe, some of these people are just scummy criminals? I get that you're a huge Trump supporter but does that automatically extend to everyone he's ever known? Isn't it at least possible that Michael Cohen has done criminal things?
