Everyone is watching Sci-Fi...Everyone.

I just watched a movie that made it ok to elimated half of life in the universe...& made me okay with it. If you subscribe to the conspiracy aspect its a full on mind bend.

If you subscribe to traditional point of views its Nazi, at best.

I hated this movie.

Murders are one of nature's ways of preventing overpopulation on Earth, but why do that in a limitless universe?

...this isn't new. That plot has been in the comics for the longest time.

However, if this is your response, you'll be happy to know that the Phoenix brings them back. Although, you'll be disappointed at the fact that Phoenix is part of the Xman universe arc that Fox had the rights to, thus resulting in her death at the hands of Wolverine.

Better yet, reality, we are food for higher beings and they feast in 36,000 year increments.

The old gods...

If you agreed with Thanos or okay with what he did then you’re pretty messed up. He literally is an idiot without a clue and is very much wrong. He has a one size fits all plan for his belief in how the universe is supposed to work. He literally could create an endless supply of everything but instead does his thing instead. He has no clue about the dynamics of the have and have nots, how that arises and how that creates the real problems he tried to solve. His belief in how the universe works is so full of bats in the belfry based off of no real scientific reasoning, just a philosophical point of view at best. Completely ignores situations where his belief really is unnecessary or simply not needed because that world is doing well and using resources equally and no shortage. Some planets could just use a little help of how to better employ their resources instead of receiving his ‘gift.’ His plan would require him to constantly repeat his ‘great gift’ just by the very nature of life itself.

TL,DR: Thanos is just wrong on so many levels.

Spoilers?
A modern movie with lots of violence?
Oh horrors!

Won't watch it unless it's free.
Not going to subsidize Hollywood.

Lol.

I'd leave it at that, but there are plenty of movies glorifying war and American acceptionalism. You need not focus on this movie.

Meh, the storyline is from the 90's. Anyone who googled that knows what Thanos did.

Wait for Netflix. Then you can drink and stuff while you watch it.

That's what I do.

It's a war at the Infiniries of course.

I don't think Thanos was racist since he didn't discriminate who would be affected by his decision. I'm wondering why he didn't just use his godlike powers to expand the universe instead of doing what he did. I get his reason, but still he could have gone about the issue another way. Oh and for anyone that did see the movie, wasn't Thanos solution a little Al Gore like in it's simplicity and short sightedness.

I like Captain America's speech in the comics better: "As long as even one person stands up to you, you'll never win". Great line.
