Thanks for that explanaton and considering that the military is thoroughly inclusive, what you have layed out is perfectly logical. With one exception!

There is absolutely NOTHING that boys do in scouting that girls themselves also can not do.

Honestly, how many girls have you met that CAN be "thrifty"?

nobody's been forced to anything, dear... but to my understanding the GSA already does admit kids who are transgender.

Apparently boys can't have spaces with no women around. Doesn't seem fair.

It´s about "the feminine aspect". So what I read is this:

"Girl Scout Spokeswoman fears to loose feminine influence over young minds."

Let them girls camp! As long as normal boy scout camp activities do not have to be scaled down because of "unfairness" and such...Life is not always fair, that´s what you learn at those camps, too.

If weak people are going to force the allowance of safe spaces on the general public then everybody should be granted the same safe space.

What I got out of it is that you’re advocating safe-spaces for men, yes.

Boy Scouts are changing to be more inclusive Primarily it seems, to counter act declining membership, by providing for a demand not being met by Girl Scouts - Girls who want to learn the things Boy Scouts do.

Capitalism in motion, supply and demand, and yet the usual suspects are in here trying to re-market this as some sort of scary liberal plot.
