can america win their first ever war with iran ??

america keeps Threatening a war with iran when they have never won a war to date??

with that in mind .

why waste billions of dollars of army equitment and thousands of lifes milatry and civilians and destroy whole citys which america will pay to rebuild afterwords just to try to win their first war in history ??
is it worth all that to try to get something you know you will never have ??
you must remeber you are the youngest country in this battle, that you belittle other countrys that will not support this, just remeber the countrys you belittle are alot older and wisser when it comes to war, so they are not so eager to indulge your fantasy of getting your first war victory....

Going to have to stand up for the Americans on here and say their rules of engagement and the modern times we live in have not realy allowed them to win the wars they have been in recently

How does one rebuild humans destroyed with the cities?
"Who was" constitution on declaration of war?
Iran will begin by destroying every base close to it including putting holes in Israel and Saudi Arabia, that would also give Assad a reason to launch all his missiles at given targets outside his nation with zero effs given. Russia will get really really mad about this one.

If such a war was to break out and limited to only America and Iran and not America invades to fight an insurgence then America by a long shot. That is highly unlikely to happen though. A war fought between two nations or even three nations is much different that fighting insurgents. The later type of was is only to spread one influence rather then defending a nation. So even if Iran wanted to defend themselves from an American aggression or vice versus America would win.

then some could say that 95% of irans milatry is supplied by russia and yes they have the s300 which proved itself in syria the other week 75% shot down, and the rate the US planes/helicopters/ships seem to be detroying them selfs at the moment i would give the iranians the edge

USA could smash Iran into the medieval age if necessary. Walk in the park................. If the gloves were taken off. If they went about it like the Brits trying win 'hearts and minds' then things might be a bit more tricky. But in the end the technological and economic might of the USA will overpower Iran, I mean they got them Mullahs totally surrounded already. It would be a clay pigeon shoot.

you seem to forget russia will not allow you to just walk in to iran, russia has stated this in the past, and dont forget russia has better techs than usa proven fact.

Totally agree Russia has a lot of tech to use if needed. But when push comes to shove, if Russia ditch the Iranians then it's all over for Iran. There is no way Iran can take on the USA. They are generations behind in tech and check out the map of USA military bases, Iran is totally surrounded right now today by USA military, the most advanced power the world has ever seen. Sure the Iranians could use a few suicide charges with their people like they did against Saddam but in the end, especially if the USA pulled off the gloves and did the job properly Iran wouldn't stand a chance. 1.so you can deny that the usa had 7 countrys it would attacke and iran being one of them ??
