But hopefully even he realizes that any limit on a right diminishes the right and stops being a right and instead, becomes a privilege of the state.

They can only be used 1 at a time.
I guess theoretically you could shoot 2 pistols at once but no serious shooter is going to do that.

Technically, anything over two falls under the common definition of "arsenal". But, the word "arsenal" sounds more scary and menacing than "collection" or "a few".

There was a warrant being served but nothing further as to why.

I have known people with close to 100 guns if not more... Their father before them collected and passed them on to their son or daughter who continued collecting because... You ready ?????????? Guns typically are a very good investment as they increase in value, or they used to..

When I moved overseas I sold almost everything (mostly to cops)....... I made money on everything I sold and in some cases doubled my initial investment.. Obama was the greatest gun salesman America has ever seen, IMO ...

There are many reasons to own guns in America...... inspite of those who want to destroy the right laid out by the 2d amendment. Some of those New Yorker's need to try that crap in some of the southern states ... See how far they get..

I did a quick bit of research on something that has bothered me a long time. Every once in a while you hear a story like this. Some guy has so many guns it becomes a deadly arsenal that he is hoarding. At what point does a collection of guns become a deadly arsenal that is being hoarded? The truth is simple: if you can legally own one gun, you can own as many as you can afford. There is NO law against it. There are limits to how much powder you can store in a residence. But guns themselves, no limit.

So why is this guy under arrest facing up to 25 years in prison?

I know liberals want to make it illegal to own any kind of firearm. I knew that for a fact when obama smiled at the camera and said, "No one is coming for your guns." The LIAR in Chief never disappoints, does he? I just cant stomach how anyone can be arrested for exercising a Constitutional right. Something has to be done about this liberal disease. It is a cancer in the body of liberty that has to be dealt with severely.

I don't care what side of the fence you are on you have to know that we have a right to bear arms. If you refuse to accept that, then pick a side of the fence and that is the side you and your ilk will be lined up on when the sh1t hits the fan.

That's a pretty reasonable answer and a genuine reason to have lots of guns, I can't really argue against it at all.

I was expecting just answers like I already got that go in the " just cause we can " category. I'm pleasantly surprised.

It was the third arrest in the past two weeks of a person with a huge cache of illegal weapons in their home.

On April 16, cops found 70 guns and 50,000 bullets in the Bayside home of a man named Ronald Drabman.

They found an AK-47 rifle, two Colt AR-15 rifles, five Bushmaster XM-15 rifles and an Uzi submachine gun in Drabman’s home.

Cops believe Drabman was a collector.

On April 15, Robert Czak, 32, of Long Island was arrested after cops found 19 guns in his house, 200 high-capacity magazines, gas masks, knives, night vision goggles and a silencer.

I also note that the gentleman referenced in the OP has no prior criminal history. All other details are also somewhat sparse, as in what lead them to issue to warrant in the first place? I have not seen that mentioned anywhere, though I may have missed that particular detail.

Is 13,000 round considered a lot, and why would anyone say "deadly weapons", why not say weapons period...lol

Where is the best place for cops to catch wind
of who has large caches of guns?

And where would they begin if confiscation
was the goal?
