Breaking now.

Cosby has been convicted of sexually assaulting a woman in 2004.

I vaguely recall hearing an accusation many years ago, but nothing more was ever reported. The press and Hollywood definitely covered up for him.

I hope they charge him on more, I hope they make an example out him. I hope his last days are as painful as all the anguish he brought into so many lives.

It's too bad money can buy freedom....

“This is somebody who has unlimited wealth,” Steele argued. “I don’t think any amount of bail can assure his presence under these circumstance.”

Found guilty of three felony counts indecent aggravated assault. Minimum 10yrs per count. They say the least amount of time he could get is 10yrs if the judge sentences him concurrently. 30 yrs consecutively. Free on bail until sentencing.

Cosby's attorneys say they will appeal. Some pundits say it could take two yrs for that to be resolved and that he would remain free on bail. Until the appeal is finished.

10 year per count of 3 assaults. I believe he played the heath card for a while to prolong it didn't he? Personally I would say both theories you suggest are atleast partly true.
