Well open your wallet, and dive on in.

Don't outsource it.

I bought a hybrid car, and my next one will be completely independent from fossile energies.

So what's your point. We should just ignore it?

Fossil fuels was used to make that car. The materials of, and delivered to.

Independent my arse.

SO3 is one of the intermediate forms between SO2 and H2SO4, so yes, you could infer that into what I said.

Sulfuric acid occurs in tiny amounts naturally, but those tiny amounts are usually small enough so normal rainfall dilutes the acid enough to not be a problem. The catalytic converters were simply not designed to handle the amount of sulfur that fuels of that era contained. They would essentially become a storage for sulfur until they couldn't hold any more. When that happened, they would start belching out all that stored sulfur.

If you're old enough to remember, catalytic converters used to have a 'rotten egg' smell after a while, which was the sulfur dioxide.

The problem isn't that bad now because the US and Europe (along with some other countries, I think Australia among them?) have heavily restricted the use of sulfur in fuels. It has raised the cost of fuel considerably, because sulfur is difficult to remove, but it can be done. Carbon, on the other hand cannot be removed from fuels... because that is what the fuel is! It's not a contaminant like sulfur.

Computer models are generated by the information and belief of the person programming the model. If someone believes in global warming, they will design the program to consider information that fits their beliefs.

I do think we need to start curbing our consumption of things, build everything to last longer. Be satisfied with less more natural things. And of course, lower the Jets in the air. Promoting tourism and cheap air travel is more of a concern with damaging our environment than driving your car to work or heating your house. Do not keep your house too hot. Combine trips when possible to the store and friends homes. Make sure not to waste food and try to fix things that break and repurpose things when possible. It is the factories and our unnecessary trips that most often cause problems with our environment. Shipping things half way around the world so much is not good either.

We got spoiled. Go out and look at the northern lights and take a walk in the park, carry protectionso you do not get mugged. Walk in groups in the park, it is safer.

What kind of tires do you plan on using?
Any plastic in this next one?
Solar panels or windmills for charging too right?

A) express.UK?!!

Sounds real credible.

B) that is how the propaganda whores get the sheep to do their bidding..

Scientists say :” humans are making the planet hotter”.

And different scientists have different projections on how fast it will change and how bad it will get, but they all agree it’s happening and humans are causing it..

Then the propagandists go find the most extreme projection and pretend ANY deviation from that extreme is proof “it’s all a vast conspiracy BY OBAMA!!”

Lol..

It is toddler logic that people should see right through..

But what is left of conservatism if you remove the random accounts of nobodies as “proof of what the left wants to do”?

Nothing..

I can’t think of one right wing talking point that is not on the thousands of years old list of logical fallacies...

Oh!

Don't forget lithium batteries and the associated mining needed for them!

His point is “see the most extreme clime change models are not precisely correct. So it’s all a conspiracy BY OBAMA!! Please ignore the fact it fits the average model perfectly..”

Lol..

It’s propaganda people should see right through..

We do see right through the propaganda.

authoritarian control pushing a technology that depends on the weather to work.

CLimate CHANGE.

Means the weather changes.

Which means it's an exercise in stupidity.

I don't think the deniers really understand this so I'll re post. Hopefully they will read it.

Lets see now, the AMS is from a country which has deliberately abandoned all responsibilities to the Earth beneath its feet, and embraced the most damaging industries instead, but the IPCC is an international collaborative effort, where experts from the whole world get together to share results, compile data, and reach conclusions based on scientific merit, rather than how scared they are that their results might look bad for business and policy makers...

The IPCC was shown to be fraudulent with their hockey stick graph quite some time ago. There were emails proving they smudged the numbers to get results that "proved" Global Warming and yet it seems everyone that is inclined to be "anti nature" is to ignore that HUGE fallacy. Much better to keep paying off the globalist sham lords than to use actual data.

I am calling all leftists "anti nature" because I have finally realized that is what it is really about. A hatred of what exists in reality. Reality is nature. Therefore you hate nature.

That is the typical end result when one spends their lives inside watching reruns of "Bambi" and "Captain Planet" instead of actually getting out in nature and seeing for themselves.

Nature ain't all sunshine and rainbows; sometimes it's kinda nasty. But it works.

I agree.

The word for this is.

Climatephobes.

Geo Engineering.

Changing the environment for people that can't live without reality tv,smart phones, and the internets.

People that live in virtual caves.

Acknowledging that the current climate warming science is based on fraud and fearmongering...but on the same time acknowledging the need to preserve nature does not exlude each other.

And vice versa.

How about they put their money where their mouths are and redevelop urban landscapes.

Tear down buildings, create green zones, and give tax incentives to do it.

De urbanize those progressive utopias.

For the true believers there any number of things they can do.

And it all begins with reforestation.

Hmmm... Wow... a nation taken over by a basically fascist ideologue with connections to people within the fossil fuel industry, whose policy writers on the subject of energy policy are people who used to literally run oil firms, lead by a man who cares nothing for the environment, and has made his position on that clear by recommending a tonne of cuts to the EPA, as well as other related bodies, has a Meteorological Association, whose findings argue with the larger, and more qualified body that is the IPCC?

WHAT A SHOCKER, UGGGH! I cannot cope with the staggering levels of surprise I am experiencing, at the news that the largest global concentration of science deniers outside of the Middle East, has decided that ITS results are more accurate than those collaborated on by the scientists of all the world.

Hubristic bloody nonsense.

Yeah, I don't give a God damn what anything that has the word "American" on it thinks anymore. The chances that these results were gleaned from an honest and unfettered scientific pursuit lay between slim and none, precisely because of the nature of the leadership of the nation, and the importance oil companies play in funding all manner of things in America. Its results on everything can no longer be trusted.

See America, think lies. That way, you only get nice surprises.

Get off your damn high horse. The world goes ga ga over the UK not burning coal for a few days, ignoring that reliance on imported energy rises back up to 1970 levels.

Your reliance on renewables totals about 10-12%.

Geo Engineering.

I despise that term! It's an oxymoron.

The first Law of Engineering is: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

Come to think of it, though, the second Law of Engineering applies here even more: "If you can't dazzle 'em with brilliance, baffle 'em with BS."
