[Edit: This is a re-post from a few weeks ago. The thread was posted in a different category. Hoping to generate some buzz with the gamers here at

Hello fellow truthers, and hopefully a few Metal Gear fanatics, I wanted to share with you an article I found and my thoughts behind it: Linky
I will not go too much into the backstory of the video game (the best video game franchise ever created imo) but I wanted to touch on a few topics
surrounding the video games consitant protagonist "The Patriots"
I was a teen when MGS2 was released for PS2. Instantly I feel in love with the game despite its negitive reviews and the "annoyance" of playing as
Raiden. The storyline to this particular instalment was very deep and rich with a lot that I didnt understand and I love that.
I didnt realise that the video game had been hinting to the Illuminati as much back in the day because of my limited knowledge. The series refers to a
shadow government created 200 years ago (about the same time as our illuminati was supposedly established) called "The Patriots" heres an excerpt on
them from Wiki:
The Patriots, originally known as Cipher, also known as the La-li-lu-le-lo (らりるれろ), were a secret organization that, by the early 1990s,
controlled the United States of America. The group was formed to fulfill the ideal of a unified world that was envisioned by the legendary soldier The
Boss and later sought to control the entire world to ensure this.
Sound familiar? How does a Japanese video game maker tie everything so well into American conspiracies? They are putting the future right in front of
our eyes.
Could Hideo Kojima know more than we think? Could he have been offered at one point or even visited by one of these members? Did he see behind the
curtain and meet the actual Patriots? He and his team are ahead of the curve so well its rather scary. If anyone has heard Roy Cambell reading the
indictments against Russia its alarming how close the script from MGS2: Son of Liberty sounds to what is going on so closely in the world.
Here it is bellow:
And this video is the final cutscene to the MGS2. As you can tell its almost like he knew the future of American and tried to warn us through his
games. Warning* Contains Spoilers*
So whats everyones thoughts about this?

Wasn´t there an almost same thread some days or weeks ago?
2 weeks ago but I put it in the wrong thread. Im hoping to generate an actual discussion rather than the flop originally posted in the conspiracy
form. good eyes
Predicted the future no but Kojima is ahead of his time in terms of a single player action title with crazy concepts. Minus all the craziness mgs 2
was very accurate predicting the state of the world and how one massive computer controls everything
I guess everybody at the age of around 40 years can "predict" parts of the future. Maybe Kojima is politically interested, interested in society and
history. Maybe he read some books and observed the world around him.
But we have it the other way around too. For example technology that is inspired by movies, like: Skynet
History repeats itself type of deal? I just think the comparisons are wildy relatable. After another play through of Suns Of Liberty I was floored to
hear about The Patriots. Metal gear has been close to me my entire life and im just now coming to terms with the storyline. "War has changed"- MGS4.
I'm a huge gear head, MGS2 is one of the most under appreciated titles in the saga. Like most back when it was released, I was really put off by the
whole Raiden switcharoo, but I stuck with it and really came to appreciate the whole narrative.
I've gone back a played it through quite a few times and it's freaky just how continuous it's parallels are to modern times.

Thats what intreges me. The fact that a video game developer was able to so closely predict some of the atrocities that a completely different country
faces 15 years later is mindblowing to me.
MGS2 was an extremely important installment in the narrative of MGS as a hole even though it was not widly appriciated. I couldnt agree with you more.
As far as game play went it probably wasnt the most lively when compaired to other titles.
Even when you look at MGS3. The historical accuracy of the game is out of this world and thats what makes me appricate MGS as a whole.
