I've done a search for "gps" within a .PNG file and it is followed by a 7 or 8 ASCII character string which when converted to decimal comes out with a 20 digt number (10 for latitude, 10 for longitude).

I WILL test finding (b) on a pic from a Q post and see what location is thrown up!!

I took a look at some of those picts and there was no Exif data attached. Maybe the names of the picts are the GPS Coods?

I'm not sure.

Understood that it can be turned off... doesn't mean that it is? Just something else worth checking - if it gives a definitive location it saves search work.

For what it's worth -- the two pictures of the JetBlue flight are screenshots according to the exif data. Anyone tried looking at the exif data and any other photos posted?

The color profiles in the exif data says it's an Apple device.

Thank-you. That confirms what many suspect, and that magazine article pointed said. That Q is a unit of top intelligence gatherers and analyzers.

Some good news ...

The US State Department freezed financing the White Helmets, which had been working in war-torn Syria, the US TV channel CBS reported on May 3. According to CBS, the US government accounted for about a third of the overall funding of White Helmets. CBS stressed that “the US State Department said the support is ‘under active review,’” adding that the organization had not been receiving financial funds from Washington for several weeks already.
