Unfortunately one of the countries that have showed along the last years an exemplar political and economic performance in a region that is crossing a terrible extended crisis ( with crises and instability in Brazil, Peru, Venezuela) could fall in a Historic limbo due to the lack of patriotism of two politicians that have been caught in terrible scandals of corruption and are unable to see the damage that they can cause to their nation if they insist to retain their offices in the Senate of that Nation.

The scandal was uncovered just few days ago by the Colombian Press as well by the various Senators, including the sons of Luis Carlos Galan, a champion of Democracy and a martyr in the fight against corruption and mafias in the war triggered in 1990s when the Drug lords Pablo Escobar-Gaviria and Gonzalo Rodriguez-Gacha tried to force the Colombian State to surrender the rule of Law in that suffered nation.

Colombians must understand that Ivan Duque-Escobar as a protege of Alvaro Uribe-Velez, whose children are accused of a horrendous dirty maneuver evasion of a giant amount of taxes in an operation of transaction of lands in is ineligible for the office of President.

This is the last of many scandals of former President and today Senator Alvaro Uribe-Velez. He has been accused in multiple occasions of to have had ties with the militias of Narcotraficants in the middle Valley of the Magdalena River since 1980s. Three members of his cabinet were sent to prison.

Urbe was recently accused together with Duque in the Supreme court of both have been absent of several sessions in the Senate, more than the ones are allowed by law to retain a seat in the Congress.

The real risk that I can see is that this scandal may undermine terribly the possibility to have in the next term a truly democratic leadership in Colombia.

If Duque insists in continue running for the Presidency with such accusations pointing against his party, he will not develop enough momentum to win the second round.

Duque if passes the first round will prevent that other politicians that are not accused of corruption and have extraordinary nice credentials as for instance Sergio Fajardo, German Vargas-Lleras or Humberto de la Calle may have the opportunity to defeat Gustavo Petro in the second round of the election in June.

Gustavo Petro represent a real danger to have a Populist leader leading Colombia to a land of No man. He is somebody with very similar profile that Hugo Chavez-Frias. His political career show he is an ex-guerrilla member, affiliated to the M19 subversive group for years,A band of ex-militaries with clear fascist, francoist and Peronist sympathies, that supported the campaign and later the claims of electoral fraud of the Dictator General Gustavo Rojas-Pinilla in his attempt to win the election of 1970 in that country.

Also that organization was involved in the kidnapping of dozens of diplomatics in the Dominican Embassy at Bogota in 1980 and also in the siege of the Supreme Court building in Bogota in 1985 that ended in a terrible massacre of the major part of the members of that corporation, as part of their pact with the Medellin Cartier of Pablo Escobar-Gaviria.

The resignation of Ivan Duque and Alvaro Uribe to their offices in the Colombian Congress, as well as the resignation of Duque to the nomination of his party is the only way to prevent to have a terrible fiasco in the final outcome of the Colombian election. The scandals that have exploded my push massively the popular vote to support Gustavo Petro-Urrego and may elect him as President of Colombia.

This same Risk has been perceived by other sensitive people, as for instance the famous Colombian-American Seer Deseret Tavares, but she couldn't understand fully what her Tarot was trying to tell her, it was Not Rodrigo Londono aka Timoshenko, ex Farc member, a Marxist politician who could be elected President, but Gustavo Petro, another ex guerrilla man with Fascist background instead.

My girlfriend is voting for Petro because she likes to hear Petro speak of pipe dreams, for ex: solar panels installed on every Colombian house....pure fantasy..

She sees the situation as " at least someone is talking about change."

Then we have Duque, backed by a man whose notorious rap sheet easily rivals that of the Clinton crime family or Putin..

Well, this moment is not the best one for Colombia, but they are doing very well if you compare with anything that is around them. Now, to be honest this is a very difficult moment for many nations, think that America for instance is not in position to give lessons of moral, decency, democracy or rule of law to anybody else after what we saw in such a corrupt election, from both sides of the partisan politics.

Colombia is in South America the country that more time has preserved its democratic institutions working, only a decade of its History they had their congress closed, ( 1948-1958) so we can say that apart of the last two years of the administration of Mariano Ospina-Perez, Laureano Gomez-Castro and Gustavo Rojas-Pinilla they were not under dictatorship decades as it was the case of Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay, Panama, Bolivia, Equator, Chile, Panama and Venezuela.

If you compare their statistics with for instance Mexico that is a pretty large Hispanic country in our borders, that has experienced dictatorships of decades, a President like Antonio Lopez de Santa Ana reelected 11 times, Porfirio Diaz reelected 5 times, or Juarez that ruled for years as President of Facto without being elected by his people, and an hegemonic party ruling for 71 years in power, well Colombia and Costa Rica are exemplar nations.

Now, definitively who ever is endorsed by Uribe-Velez will be a really weak Candidate to face Gustavo Petro in the election, due to the so grave scandals that surround him, even the lady that is the runner mate of Ivan Duque-Marquez , Mrs Marta Lucia Ramirez, would be in serious trouble to win the second round of the election. Ivan Duque may be deprived of all his political rights if the case in the Supreme court ( State Council) progress for the absences he has had in the sessions of the Senate. If that case is failed against him, he immediately will be inhabilitated to be elected as President.

If that scenario occurs before the first round it is still possible that Colombians of good will, I mean the decent people, vote for any of the other three eligible candidates on time, but if that decision is taken after the first round passes we will see an extremely undermined Candidate facing a truly political Animal as it is Petro.

Petro promises are pure demagogy, is populism to the extreme, he is acting in an irresponsible way offering things that are absolutely out of possibility to be achieved, but there is the precedent in 1970 of such Populism in Colombia. Gustavo Rojas-Pinilla, who was the Juan Domingo Peron of Colombia, got an impressive popular support offering things like transfer real state property from the landlords to the tenants that had 15 years or more paying rent. Such a decision if might be implemented was not different than the expropriation of the Jews under the IIIth Reich by WII.

New revelations have come to my awareness recently about the new developments in the Colombian Election:

I foresaw a third Candidate emerging with great strength in this very last month of Campaign, around him there will be a movement of masses of middle class people, professionals, educators, small entrepreneurs, students, traders, a multitude of Colombians tired of the manipulation that is taken place with the polls.

There is a conspiracy already running from the political establishment, the strong aristocracies that have ruled for centuries the public life in Colombia, from one side, supporting Ivan Duque-Marquez, and from the other one the fascist political machinery that is pushing the campaign of Gustavo Petro, an ex militant of the subversive militia M19.

I see close to the day of the election great agitation in Colombia, we are going to witness different important events occurring:

- a Natural disaster will target Colombia, if something huge of seismic nature with a Volcanic component too.

- Violence will emerge in the campaign, I see attempts of assassination running against even more than one political figure, it is likely that not all of them can be stopped on time before to harm somebody important.

- The number of candidates running will reduce to just three in the last weeks before the first round of the election take place on May 27th.

- The day of the first round election the third Candidate, a still young man that is not a conventional politician, somebody coming from the world of academics or science, will perform extraordinarily good, defying the forecast of the polls he may even take one of the two slots for the second round of the election in June.

The outcome of the first round it is pretty clear in this Oracle: None of the candidates will be able to reach more than 50% of the casted votes, there will be a need for a second round.

I suggest to my readers in Colombia to be cautious of the rallies of the politicians, since when violence emerge will be difficult to control and even innocent people may be targeted by the terrorists.

There will be rumors of international plots behind this, but my perception is clear that the origin of these crimes is domestic, it will be linked with the world of drugs, the underground economy.

There are groups of organized crime that have strong interests in to redirect the progress of the political process and assure an electoral result in their best interest.

A major political figure will be also accused of involvement in extremely grave corruption scandals and this will add a lot of noise to the election.

I see somebody being impeached and even imprisoned or charged as consequence of this shocking indiction. However, the final outcome of such a prosecution will really arrive months after the election.

There will be a kind of panic about the result of the election, since it will look as a radical twist in what has been the political life of Colombia for decades, but at the end the political machineries will be defeated by the organization of the common citizens, true democracy will prevail, but a genuine one, it will not be just the continuation of a state controlled by the powerful ones.

The analysis of the facts show that the outcome of the Colombian election, the first round, matches with what it was predicted on this thread it was going to be.

There were indeed two major surprising events on it, that contradicted all what it was projected from the polls:

- Sergio Fajardo got an extremely large amount of votes that became third with 24% of the casted votes, at only 1.5% behind Gustavo Petro, that although not by landslide assured his clear passing to the second round.

- Ivan Duque-Marquez didn't won the election in only one round, as a lot of polls, biased ones of course, that were posted in the Colombian media claimed. Overall the more than 50% of votes they were giving to him, almost by consensus, he only got 39% of the votes.

With the defection of Fajardo for a narrow margin it is practically buried the best opportunity to stop Petro to win. I don't see how in 3 weeks toward the second round Ivan Duque will be able to heal the wounds of the campaign to make an alliance with the center left of the politics to stop the arrival of M19 to power.

Hence, according with what were my forecasts we are going to see an second and definitive round between the two candidates I mentioned on this thread to occur on June 17th.

Who is going to win on the very last round? I don't see any change on what has been my prediction since the thread was opened.

First, It is not going to be for any large margin, it will be final of photo finish, with a winner narrowly taking the Presidency, a very controversial result.

The final outcome will favor Gustavo Petro, who will feel that he wins more from luck than from anything else, and such a moment will arrive in the middle of strong reactions of protests, will be a terrible dramatic explosion on the streets by the losers, from one side, and of jubilee by his supporters on the other hand.

This result will be tied, shocking for many, there will be a lot of claims of fraud, but those objections will not prosper enough to force a change on the result.

I send a message to my readers in Colombia, please don't fall in provocations, avoid violence, try to understand that there are social issues in behind this turning point, try to maintain good relationship with almost everybody, cultivate friendship, please be polite and respectful with anybody, do not discriminate anybody, since those are going to be the only effective tools to deal with the years you have ahead of you.

This is time to start to exercise the virtue of compassion and forgiveness in all directions.

God bless Colombia, show his mercy on your land, to achieve peace among the Colombians in general.

Unfortunately this looks as an Omen of what has been a very difficult time to try to reconcile all the social sectors of Colombia and put them to work together in the construction of a stable peace with progress for all.

In a week that was already marked by the decision of the Supreme court of Colombia to call former President and Senator Alvaro Uribe-Velez to be prosecuted and judged for multiple grave crimes he has been accused, this seismic motion look as a symbolic warning that comes from above of what could be the consequences if he is not surrendered under the rule of Law, as any other citizen that has debts with justice.

I ask to the Divine Mercy for forgiveness about the irresponsible mention in Colombian media of the Sacrament of Exorcism in connection with this oath ceremony that transfer power today, it was really another unfortunate grave fact occurred on this week in Colombia, involving a Priest that apparently has recognized that he lied when he mentioned it to the journalists, a terrible sacrilege.

The details of that day around the swearing ceremony of the new President had a lot of more negative omens clearly visible in the air, it was Not just the strong earthquake at noon:

- The principal flag over the Capitol palace of Bogota will be half of the post when the President sworn.
- Another long flag hanged on one of the lateral walls at the facade of the palace fell down under the pressure of the rain and wind.
- The first umbrella used by the escort of the President to cover him during his inaugural speech became broken by the wind.
- The ceremony was preceded by a show of assault troops in camouflage uniforms that brought a symbol of war on scene.
- The excessive presence of a dense wall of flowers on the background on the stage look like cemetery crowns to honor fallen soldiers tombs.

I experience a vision of future facts, unfortunately Colombia will face a terrible situation generated by the plans of the NATO forces to invade Venezuela from its territory, a felt a very clear and strong causal line of a sudden and dramatic war exploding on the border of the two nations but causing a lot of damages over Colombian territory and cities.

I am sorry to predict this but I must be honest and open, that is what I foresaw, my prayers are right now for the innocent people that may be affected by this event.

Colombia is a poor country that has been raped by FARC guerrilla supported from the Netherlands, by the royals of the Netherlands, starting from the King, and by the moronic and decrepit Rutte govt. Meanwhile in the country itself , a germanic EUrospy (Ferdinand Grapperhaus) prepares to run a police state ilke the country has never seen before in its history. Another big supporter of the FARC guerilla is Geert Wilders whose only occupation at home is to contrast legal immigration, in favor of illegal African and Mideastern migrants.

At the service of hist Majesty, Mr Wilders is the main gatekeeper in defense of the rotten government, against any opposition.... and will obviously do so at the EU parliament in Brussels.

I am not very interested in to go deeper in claims you mentioned of current international conspiracies around the situation of internal violence in Colombia, specially if there appear to be European monarchies behind them.

Nevertheless, is pretty obvious that where ever there is a valuable resource to take over there is more than one international organization interested on it.

Now, from the Past of Colombia it is easy to see that many external powers have tried to control that strategic corner of the Americas, I can not imagine who wants to do if it would be really a poor country.

They became independent of Spain sponsored in important manner by Great Britain. They were for half of XIX century in the sphere of influence of France who were trying to build an Interoceanic Canal in its territory.

They collided with America in the era of the big stick losing the Panama isthmus under civil war.

Their civil war between 1900 to 1903 was mainly boosted by either neighbor countries or other international forces looking for advantages depending on which band was going to win.

Their civil war between 1948 to 1954 was boosted by Communist, Francoist and Peronist Fascist infiltrations.

Now, the country is far to be poor, only maybe poor information on it may create such impression:

- On Birds, Insects and Mammals ranks 1st to third place on biodiversity on the world.
- The Highest annual precipitation rates of the Continent only 2nd in the world after India.
- Navigable rivers into the Pacific, Caribbean, Amazon and Orinoco basins.
- One of the largest reserves of Carbon of the world.
- One of the largest reserves of Gold and Platinum of the Continent.
- The largest reserve of Emeralds of the world and always among the first producers.
- One of the largest Quartz reserves on the Americas
- The eldest airlift industry of South America, among the 3 eldest in the world.
- The largest Electric Power generation on Latin America.
- The Largest Graphic Industry in the Andean countries
- The largest cotton fabrics industry on Latin America.
- The Largest Wool confection industry on Latin America.
- The second largest producer of ornamental flowers in the world ( 1st on Tropical ones)
- The third place on Coffee production

Anyone of those resources may put a country easily on the world records.
