My point is, people continue to draw parallels between WMDs in Iraq and our most recent strikes.

We had very good reason to believe the reports of WMD manufacturing and use in Iraq, those Kurds weren't mustard gassing themselves.

Iraqi scientists were handing in reports of their progress to Saddam and we recovered those reports as well.

We have good reason to believe Bashir is using chemical weapons on his people. (again)

Sorry you missed out on the intel.

Having been involved in Operation Desert Storm and Shield myself, your armchair opinion is just that to me and is worth...

f**k all.

In the future please make statements instead of asking yourself simple questions to seem smart.

Whitehall documents show, the US and British sought to privatise Iraqi oil production with a view to allow foreign companies to takeover. Iraq was for oil! Nothing to do eith the chemical weapons. They wanted saddam gone!

Iraq in 2003 wasn't about privatizing oil production. Saddam wanted to start trading oil in Euros and kill the petrodollar. The deep state couldn't allow that.

Absolutely. It had nothing to do with violations of the ceasefire, missiles fired at coalition planes enforcing the no-fly zone. Attempts to secure nukes. Yeah, right.

The UN security council just rejected a motion to condemn the Syrian strike. Eight voted against it. Four in favor and three abstentions.

I will pass, thanks.

aka, you looked at the link and realized everything you have been thinking is reality is a complete fabrication. utter bullcrap...so, you will pretend you didn't look. gotcha

I leave you to your views. I will retain mine.

P.S. The 'Whte Hat' saga occurred under Obama. Trump inherited this mess. The OP is on Trump's handling of it. Add in the fact that two national leaders-who are heavily 'anti-Trump' joined in without evidence?? Sorry, but the logic doesn't fly.

Yes, once Obama left, people stopped trying to pin stuff on Assad...but now its legit this time. Totes was Assad this time...no need for showing people evidence

As far as my views...I don't have any firm views yet as I am waiting for information showing it was assad that used the gas.

As far as things you brought up...you said "you have no evidence it wasn't him" when I pointed out there was no evidence (that we the public know of) that it was.
That is like saying "You can't prove there is no god...therefore there is a god until proven wrong.

again, thats not how it works, and your brain on this subject is about as sane as a bag of feral cats

Assad is still in power. No one's taken him out. Just chemical weapons sites.

The UN security Council just rejected a resolution of condemnation by an eight to four vote with three abstentions.

A job well done, President Trump....I guess that means we agree to disagree?

Trump during his campaign was "America First!" Promised to not get into any wars unless it had a real purpose, and victory could be assured with a capital "V" (his words). How quickly times change.

He was played - and only his most ardent worshipers can somehow equate this with a victory.

How quickly his views changed once President (he is the master of flip-flop).. and how quickly his supporters flip-flop with him.

In Trump's own word.. "Sad!"

Indeed.
Sea levels are rising. My boat floats more often. But my front lawn is being washed away.

Yep, the US sucked in by the British and French. Sykes-Picot. Your doing. Your damned mess. Now Trump has the job to get us out of it. One step at a time. Keep your enemies even closer. Maybe, just maybe, he'll pull it off.

Thanks for that info. I'm going to see which 8 voted against destroying Chemical Weapons. They should be yellow flagged by the NSA.

Ummm...I see you left whatever critical thinking skills you may have once possessed...completely off the page...

Delusion might be too light a word to define what you just stated...

Here’s to hoping you wake from your fever dream and visit reality...

WOW...

YouSir

So show us your critical thinking skills because he gave some reasons and you gave none.

Can you refute his statements without using Russian sources?

Good luck

That's backwards. Eight voted against the Russian resolution to condemn the air strike.
