This is not the first time I wonder if Bible Authors know how to measure time at all. They seriously need some mathematics education or proper clock.

In case of Peter, he was simply fooling people not to wait for god to fulfill his promise. ( or be patient because Peter was bad tempered man, he deliberately made a big mess with time. )

I told you already, it should be Mary who lead the church. But no one listen, simply because Mary was a girl. Damn those male dominated culture.

There is no argument when I attached that piece of religious literature that came from the same book. There is no, one can say, it is, I posted it in my o.p. there is no argument. The only argument is the bible is all lies & people don't believe in God. That is the only argument to this o.p.

Well the authenticity for one. The purpose another. Why should we need a book written by men thousands of years ago to tell us how to live thousands of years later?

Peter was jesuss best friend which is why he was his first disciple. They were friends before he got famous. Same time zone. What the thread say, is that 7 days is 7 thousand years. That is what the bible says. I guess I keep reiterating because of my premonition I had last night. I just want people to see the meaning of God I guess & not pick & choose their perspective at different points in it. Sorry I was such a lil dik.

Same reason we still go off dead people from 200 years ago or even 100 like Einstein. We translate our words to other countries to help them understand democracy. It doesn't make democracy any less effective or true just because we translate it. So in those points, it's means absolutely nothing to say it's not real because of dead people or translation.

This is INCORRECT. Mary Magdalene was Jesus #1, then Judas and then Peter. If Mary hadn't been Jesus' "Old Lady" then Judas would've been #1 Apostle..

According to General Relativity, time is relative and not uniform. It's not the same everywhere.

A person on top of the building will age faster than the person on the ground.

If you are near a black hole, and you see a watch on earth, it will tick very fast. A day spent in a blackhole, a thousand years have already transpired on earth.

So, going back to a day in Genesis, a billion years would have transpired. To God, only a day has passed by. Since, God was the one who created the world, we should see time relative to God and not relative to the Universe.

You will notice the difference between Gen 1:1 and Gen 2:2 in the AKJV one is heaven and the next it is heavens. If we rightly divide the word of truth then the first HEAVEN refers to the beginning before Gen 1:2, and the second HEAVENS refers to the day after the 6 days work of God to make the earth habitable again but this time for mankind and animals. For now there are three heavens according to Paul. The first heaven is the atmosphere, where clouds and birds fly, the second heaven is where all the stars are located within the firmament, and the third heaven is the abode of God located outside the firmament.

God inspired Moses to write Genes 2 to expand more about the recreation events of Gen 1:3-31.
