Red Eagle Dream

I am a long time lurker here on ATS. Always enjoyed all the forums.

I had a dream last night that was a little odd, but very realistic. I do not call my self a seer or claim to prophesy.

In this dream, I found myself in a building where I worked many years ago. I notice this baby bird. The birds down a dull grey and white. Then I notice as I got closer to the chick, I see a larger bird. At first I can not tell what type of bird it is, except it is large and red. I reach out to the large bird and it calmly tries to bite my finger. Probably thought my finger was a large worm. I look around to find something to feed the larger bird, since it has to be the adult of the chick. I find a small bag of popcorn someone had tossed on the floor. As I am feeding the larger bird, the shape of the beak grabs my attention. It has to be an eagle I thought to myself. Although I have never seen a red eagle before.

As the red eagle finishes the popcorn, I see the chick waddling away. I run over, with the red eagle in tow, and easily and gingerly scoop the chick up. When I turn around i see how massive this red eagle is. Almost as tall as I am. Reminds me of how tall my alaskan malamute is when on his hind legs. I does not scare me or even want to attack me. It's at this moment there are cats trying to climb me. I'm not a cat person. They have to be after the eaglet. So i try to make to a different building. The eaglet climbs and stays on my shoulder, like a pirates parrot, while I pull these cats off of me. One of the cats was a green color missing its left eye. I make it to the safety of the other building, and awake.

What I have logically figured out:
I have been reading waaay too much doom porn about the situation in Syria.
Eagle=USA
Red=Russia
Popcorn="I'm going to get some popcorn and watch"
Cats=??
Eaglet=??

I think you wrapped up your dream well at the end of your post.

Eagle -America
Red -Russia

Popcorn - could symbolize watching for entertainment or feeding "the machine" so to speak

Cats -one having a missing left eye is interesting, you can do your research on left eye or left hand path. It could symbolize your dream being prophetic and you being mauled by your prophetic vision

Eaglet -what is born FROM Americs and Russia conflict.

Dream place- "In this dream, I found myself in a building where I worked many years ago". This could symbolize you coming back to a place you once had a previous prophetic dream.

Red Eagle- medicine bird that brings messages from the east direction.
Cats- predator
Eaglet- you took and ran with smaller versions of the message
Popcorn- Corn- traditional food "of the People"
Old workplace- represents your mundane life as opposed to your spiritual one.

All depending on your own personal symbolic correspondences. if you say Syria that may well be what it is? In my senario the larger messages follow you, the Red Eagle tagging along, so maybe you're only ready for the smaller ones right now, but not closing the door to the larger ones either.

Dreams are all grain of salt...maybe? or maybe not.
