I don't think he's doing a bad job so far. I guess we'll see, he's a covert President way ahead of the rest, but stupid no way. This might just be the diversion hand of the hypnotist he's using to sway the enemies back to their corner.

Question.......

What happened to needing congressional approval to strike another sovereign nation?

He can warpig without Congressional approval for a maximum of 90 days - tis the law.

The War Powers Resolution requires the President to notify Congress within 48 hours of committing armed forces to military action and forbids armed forces from remaining for more than 60 days, with a further 30-day withdrawal period, without a Congressional authorization for use of military force (AUMF) or a declaration of war by the United States.

I didn’t vote for trump, but I’m glad it wasn’t Hillary who won.

I have defended some of his actions and I’ve condemned the lefts constant and childish attack on him. They are rooting for America to fail and it’s been embarrassing to watch their constant hatred and juvenile behavior.

However, when the omnibus bill was signed I saw in Trump exactly what made me not vote for him. He did exactly as every other politician does...he lied and spit in the face of every American citizen. Specifically, the party that voted him into office.

Now, he’s done it again. He’s poking the Russian bear. He’s fanning the Iranian flames. He’s putting American military lives at risk. I joined the military because of 9-11 and the “war on terror”. I left because it was still going on 14 years later. Now, not only are we still in Afghanistan guarding poppy fields and fueling the military industrial complex, but we’re solidifying our place in another war with far more devasting consequences.

Our President is not interested in his voters or the American people. He’s interested in making the rich richer. He’s looking out for his buddies and pals who are profiting off all of it. It’s abundantly clear to me.

I get why the far right is still clinging to his nuts just like I understood why the far left clung to Obama’s nuts throughout his tenure. But it’s time to relax the grip and see it for what it really is.

The establishment doing what the establishment does!

When chemical weapons are used all bets are off. If he intervenes on the use of chemical weapons and you complain it is safe to say had he ignored the attack you would have vilified him for not caring about the suffering children. You make a big deal of some philosophical moral red line that was crossed but the truth is you were standing in the middle of a giant spirograph just waiting for a chance to bad mouth Trump. Congratulations. You chose to do so while American soldiers are fighting overseas. You would think this would be a time to come together to support our troops but I guess partisan politics is more important to you.

Nice alterion of Trump's statement, typical of the left. 'Intervention' is your wording. He stated as long as the ME nations took care of their domestic extremists, the US no loger had the policy of regime change or 'nation rebuilding'. Period.

If Trump was going to remove Assad, he'd be gone. He's not. Simple.

Trump will be out of Syria by the mid-term and will have fulfilled his promise.

Well done on the 'warning' given to all that use or would us weapons of mass destruction.

Trump supporters here kept saying over an over again that HIllary was a warmonger who would start WW3 so everyone should vote for Trump.

Now that Trump could be starting WW3 they don't care about warmongering anymore. Trump supporters will never change their mind, if supporting banning bump stocks and assault weapons didn't change their minds bombing someone won't either.

I don't support the gassing of innocents - I know of no-one who does.

Provide for me your proof that Assad gassed his own because lots of folks (including some of your elected leaders who aren't jumping on the warpigs band-wagon), are waiting to see it - we're not interested in 4-star generals telling us Assad did it - they are lobbied to say so by US gov defence contractors, also because hearsay and propaganda is unacceptable to me - I'll need to see the cold hard proof - not the parroting of 10 years of propaganda from the main stream media immediately showing the children maimed along with the automatic assumption that it was Assad.

The US are warpigs, they are encouraging a genocide in Yemen today, right now, as they support Saudi Arabias incursion into and beyond a sovereign countries borders.

Yet we are supposed to buy your idea hook, line & sinker, without neary a clarification? Also, whilst you are at it, why don't you also explain to me what the US is doing in Syria anyway? Why has the assumption that team-America can be world police, flown under the radar and that being in some busted-assed country on the other side of the planet is so important that no other country has the power to take the lead and allow the US to pull out and return home?

LOL - don't answer that, it'll get fairly awkward for you, since you are also a warpig by virtue of giving such a resounding thumbs up to whacking Syria because a TV station convinced you to be thusly emotionally involved.

The warpigs would be rubbing their hands together at the likes of you - giving them their green light to murder/death/kill with impunity.

You have several trump supporters on this very thread calling him out for this, including me.

Yet as usual, your partisanship allows you to ignore reality.

And as I said last night, it’s hilarious to see the people that claimed trump was Putin’s stooge for trying to deescalate with Syria and Russia, and cheered on the establishment calls of that to now pretended they haven’t gotten exactly what they wanted

Ummm...what a disengenous load of twaddle...

Do share with us please your intimate insider knowledge that places the blame for this farce of a gas attack at Bashar Al Assad’s feet...
Is it precisely like the sarin gas attack of April one year ago...that Mattis quietly and without fanfare stated in February...there is no proof that President Assad or his forces carried out that supposed gas attack...all long after the cruise missiles flew of course...?

Do you comprehend what a dealbreaker is...?

This rush to judgement based on zero evidence and contrary to any logic...is a dealbreaker...
Trump just towed the neocon/deepstate line full speed ahead...and your defending him...?
