Nice looking pistol!

Used one once at the range and loved the way it felt in my hand. My glock 17 is too big for my tiny paws, perhaps ill look into one.

Gratz!

Don't want to see you bitching about gun control!

believe it or not you can own guns and be for gun control at the same time.

Amen to that! While I'm all for the right to bear arms, why the hell wouldn't you want to screen for undesirables? Certain people are simply too unstable to own guns.

I'm a restricted firearms owner and believer in the right for one to defend him or herself, but have never understood those who advocate universal rights to them. Why on earth should a schizophrenic or ex convict ever have a gun?

So why say it if it’s not relevant?

Where am I being such a thing?

Why do you have to brag?

.

i say all kinds of # that is not relevant. is that not allowed?

you are being a dick with your little too cool comment

posting a thread about my new weapon in the forum where people post about their weapons is not bragging. it is talking about it.

so yeah. youre being a dick.

why even say # if youre gonna say # like that?

how about nice gun? or i dont like the gun?
or just dont say #

i dont understand

and if its really not worth you time then dont spend any more time in the thread.

Actually, it isnt allowed. That is called thread drift.

That being said, I don't see how anything you said so far is irrelevant in this forum. Is this not where we talk about weaponry? Ignore the troll.

Looks nice. I probably will never own a Walther. They are too expensive although I have been told they are nice guns.

I haven't read all of 007 but I don't think he ever carried anything bigger than a .32 cal.

Walthers are great! A good friend of mine has that exact model, and swears by it. I love shooting it, when I have the chance.

Get some hollow points if you are going to carry in public. You don't want to draw your gun and fire and have the FMJ (Full Metal Jacket) round over penetrate and kill the person behind the person you shot. It can happen and you will get a murder charge for it.

Hollow points will mushroom inside the person causing more damage and hopefully be preventing overpenetration.

Other than that nice gun. Get some night sights for it.

Good advice!

PS: Don't load semi-wad cutters. They are prone to jam in some autos. My Sig will not feed them at all.

Beauty!! Is that the hammerless version where the hammer is external but not enough you can actully put an adult thumb on?

While I shot damn near perfect and won top gun in my class with a glock, I still prefer a hammer. Even a very small one. Maybe I’m old school because I know internal hammers like the glock are just as safe.

Either way congrats on the new piece. Now go throw some lead! Tight groups!

The Walther PPX is a decent gun.

Please download the Walther PPX Manual

Since I know you aren't a gun person, please take the following advice:

1. I don't care if you're never going to CCW. Go get one. You will learn an awful lot in the process, not the least of which is the effective use of a gun.

2. Please seek out beginner and intermediate tactical pistol courses, and do not overlook the importance of house-clearing with a gun. These kinds of skills WILL keep you alive. Going to the range twice a year is not training. You don't take one martial arts class and think you can be effective. Don't make that mistake with a gun. It isn't a magic talisman.

3. All of that FMJ ammunition you have in those mags needs to be dumped out and replaced with quality defensive ammunition. FMJ is for practice, and tend to over-penetrate.

Affirmative. I carried the same gun in a .380 as a backup.

I keep a PP 22 in my pocket.
It's a real cutie and will light a bad guy's ass on fire.
Get to use my fancy finger with that one.
Three fingers take up the whole grip.
It'll drop a pig.

Nice gun! A friend of mine used to have the 'James Bond' version... the German-made Walther PPK .380. I'm not a big fan of the .380, but I have to admit it was the sweetest shooting little toy I have ever fired. And it can do damage!

Congratulations! And remember, gun control means being able to hit your target.

In the right weapon, they are also good for killing cars...
