Sounds to me your insecure in your countries military and their abilities. There isn't currently a nation on the planet equal to the US military. The only option Russia would have would be to use nuclear weapons. Now me personally I don't think Putin is that stupid but I could be wrong maybe you know he is. Either way the only way there would be a nuclear war is for Putin to launch in which case russia becomes a smoldering crater and the planet becomes inhospitable to life.

I'm fairly confident that Putin will huff and puff but never start a war he can't win.

Hearing trump talk about his nice smart bombs, makes me realise that we are all being controlled by sociopaths, who do not give a crap about me and you.

Sure, they will say "it's for our country" only to get the conditioned patrioric people on their side.

This is the sad fact! That sociopaths run our planet. They decided if you live or die. They decide if we go to war. They have mist of us by the balls.

Putin may not be an idiot but Russia has a military doctrine which says they can use nuclear weapons in a limited first strike capacity. What happens if Russia decided to take out a carrier strike group? Does the US retaliate and risk all out nuclear war? The line can get a bit fuzzy on who attacks first.

Look on the bright side. At least WWIV will be a war where all sides are armed equally. We'll be back to days of using Sticks and Stones.

The Russian attack in UK and the Syrian gas attack were staged to prepare for a massive air strike in Syria to protect western forces surrounded by the Syrian army. But Russia has reported that they have already taken UK troops prisoner. If true, west could soon end up with egg on its face with captured troops presented on media.

Russia has sent out notice of live fire training drills off the coast of Syria over several day blocks this month. The areas are restricted because of it.

No apocalypse day, tomorrow, or likely the day after. The delay in which the us is taking to strike syria indicates that all this time is being spend on the deconfliction line discussion what targets the US can hit and cant hit with russia. All of what you are seeing now is for show. ZERO risk of real escalation.

Any scenario that involves missiles being lobbed into a country has a chance greater than 0% to escalate into something more serious. While unlikely, one mistaken hit on the wrong target can escalate things quickly.
