Two F-15Is, 8 missiles were fired, some were intercepted, some got through.

What kind of weaponry is able to shoot down an air-to-ground missile from a jet?

I imagine they were cruise type missiles.. Fired from out of range so the F15s were not in danger.. I don't know what Syria has or whatever else, but s400 is there and that can easily shoot down missiles like that..

No news organization is talking about any air strikes. They are still talking about the chemical attack. Wouldn't they mention this?

Maybe this is a good example on media coverage for breaking news in Syria.. Something you could learn from perhaps? who am I kidding people don't learn anymore they just emote from the same stimuli consistently.

anyway.. I see you're up to speed now lol.

So the WMD in this lie was German manufactured chlorine gas in explosive barrels that the western sponsored rebels used.

The guilty party is irrelevant now as well since the Iranians have set up a base in Syria in response to our escalation.

This base didnt launch the HELICOPTER attack of explosive barrels that were used in the gas attack. Who cares anyways.

We killed some Iranians, or Russians, or hell maybe a Syrian air force member that is trying to fight off our ILLEGAL invasion via mercenaries and special warfare units. Hooray.

Now we get to see them not try to kill our guys more as a response. Victory....yay.

Pantsirs, Su-35/30 armed with R-77 can all easily shoot down Tomahawks which are subsonic.

They were modified Popeye air to surface missiles, not Tomahawks.

So, where did you get that from then? The Syrians and Russians are denying there is any chemicals, anywhere.

So what is the modification the Israelis have made to the Popeye, or rather what variant was used. In 2014 Israel used Popeye missiles and one was shot down by a Syrian SA-3 if the report I read recently is to be believed.

The Tiyas also called T4 air base is shared between Russians and Syrians. It has Syrian Gazelle helicopters and L-39 jets and Russian Mi-35M helicopters.

They've upgraded the wings, the seeker and the avionics so they'll talk to the F-15I.
