Right, I'm having an argument with my sister. She's got an amazing voice and is way more musically talented than I am but, man, her music taste stinks! She just sent me this cover of Zombie by The Cranberries and I have to say it made me throw up a little bit in my mouth. It's okay, I swallowed it. To my very untalented ears it's overdone pop, weak and doesn't begin to compare to original. am I right?

Also! Also! She said Bob Dylan can't sing!?!? How can this woman have a 4 octave range and be tone deaf as a p... deaf as a ppp... deaf as a ppppost?

Someone fan me, I'm about to pass out!

Vocal range has little to do with musical appreciation imho. To each their own. Sometimes it's better if certain people play their favourite music alone. Because nobody else likes it...

My music taste is probably as wide ranging as you can get, from Joni Mitchell to doom metal like Wizard. Strangely those two genres are my go to comfort music. I feel very grounded with really, really heavy, durge. I have a friend who says she doesn't like music. To me that's like saying "I don't like to breathe". Does. Not. Compute.

This is where music transcends language. He left this unfinished because he thought if he did complete this piece it would end all music. It being absolute perfection. I don't know about that. Tool's Fourty Six and Two comes in a hair's breadth away for me.

ETA2 Just trying to keep your spirits up. There's nothing more depressing than putting all your # in boxes and then carrying those boxes from one location to another. I hope the new place is nicer.

Oh I know! I was just making up some pretty bags with a bunch of jewelry and stuff for my friends. It's half my Sisters fault. On Christmas and my Birthday she goes nuts. I keep telling her it isn't necessary, but she keeps saying she can't help it, that I'm so easy to please and she keeps seeing things she knows I'd love. LOL
