Not good...

Russia suddenly puts troops on full combat alert

The Russian military command suddenly puts troops on full combat alert, movements of combat vehicles and missile systems observe almost all over the country.

An activity of Russian troops is most notable in the Western part of Russia, near the borders with Ukraine and the Republic of Belarus, as well as in the Transbaikal region and the Far East. On April 8-9 active movements of a large number of military vehicles and tanks, also were seen moving of the Iskander missile systems with Air Defence support.

Some source reported about deploying command and control systems on main military naval bases and military airfields.

Russian defence officials refused to comment on any moving of troops.

Some experts attribute this to the fear of a possible US and NATO invasion of Syria after an alleged chemical attack on a Syrian rebel-held town.

It should be reminded that Ukraine’s Defenсe Minister Stepan Poltorak said in an interview that Russia has concentrated 19 battalion tactical groups of more than 77,000 troops near the Ukrainian. At the moment, the government in Kyiv is ramping up its fight to reclaim Ukraine’s restive eastern regions, at the same time Russia has deployed 77,000 troops along its border with Ukraine, included modern main battle tanks. missile systems and combat aircraft.

I am not familiar with the source or their reliability so if someone is familiar please let me know if the source is reliable.

They originally said six of 8. Israeli strike packages have worked on every mission they've done over Syria.

We dont really know, do we?
An interception rate of 63% (if true) doesnt point to a successful attack, even if intended targets were hit in the end.
I dont think you'd take a 60+% interception rate with only 3 missiles getting through into account when setting up a strike against possible multiple targets. That would be cutting it awefully close.

Israel actually.

How can you speratate the USA and Israel from each other. The USA give more funding to Israal to all other nations combined. It gives more weaponry to Israel and it give political support even when the rest of the world condemns it. This has been the case from elect to elect.

There is no difference betweeen the two nations.

Dont go down that road. Israel is a sovereign country. However if you wish we can apply that same idiotic standard to Russia if you wish.

Like how Syria is using chemical weapons on civilians with the assistance and approval of russia.

I have pointed out some facts you may not like. Regardless of your opinion the facts remain the facts and the ties between the USA and Isreal remain.

Most of the world outside the USA can see this. If you cannot or do not want to look at alternative truths that is entirety your decision.

Isreal bombing Syria is the same as the US bombing Syria. Its a charade. look behind the curtain and see it for what it is.

You cannot compare the two relationships. Every rime Israel commits a warcrime and kills innocent unarmed people and the world condemns it. Who sticks up for them. The USA. Why do you think America gives so very much to Isreal in the way of weaponry. Why do you think the USA gives Israel more money than all other nations combined in Aid.

Why do you think Israel was offering air support to ISIS. See it for what is it.

Well, no you didnt. You gave us your opinion that whatever Israel does the US somehow knows about it and approves it, which is blatantly false and not supported by anything.

As for arms / supplies given the countries in the Middle East attitude towards Israel the sales are justified. Just as Russia equip[s and arms mid east countries who dont recognize israel and want them wiped off the map. Those countries and Russia might as well be one country, just like we are seeing in Iran and Syria.

As for what the world condemns that the decision of the sovereign countries. Just as other countries points of view when the world condemns countries that Russia protects (by arms / politics and in the UN).

If you want to keep this idiotic back and forth going we can. Or you can accept Russia is responsible for doing the very things you accuse the US and Israel of doing.

No, you don't plan for that, but this is the first real standoff strike that we've seen by them against Syrian targets. And they still hit their target.

What do you classify as a "real standoff strike"? I dont think yesterdays attack was anything special.

Dont see any difference to that one for example: www.haaretz.com...

Because, from what I remember without double checking, their previous airstrikes have involved them crossing into Syria and getting much closer to their targets.

If the Syrians are guilty of a gas attack on their own people where is the irrefutable, incontrovertible proof that it was the Syrian govt and not Israel or the US doing it and blaming the Syrian govt for it.

Come on, where is the proof, the proof, the proof, the proof ????

Trump will have his war because that's what Bolton will tell him to do. It's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when.

Indeed, the finanacial system is having issues so the best reset and spurring of gains is war.

What the hell is wrong with zerohedge? If this is true, it represents another major leak that is undermining our administration. Could've put US lives in danger, cruise missiles or no cruise missiles.

That being said, Pentagon denies the attack and it appears that Syrian State TV is reporting the strike. And while we certainly could've done such a thing (at any time, any place we choose..actually) it isn't the US' style to deny military strikes or action. Especially not POTUS.

Who knows though

Might be a good time to start investing in defense contractors...

The RTN shares I purchased several years back are worth more than twice what I paid for them. That is a pretty significant gain for stock

Unfortunately I believe you're correct here, and we're going to get bogged down in another war that does nothing for our national security or advancing our national strategic interests. Total waste of money, effort and human life.

Not to be overly blunt, but Syria isn't our problem. And if we're going to start putting down every dictator that commits atrocities against their own people then we've got a list a mile long (starting with NK, Venezuela, China, etc).

I say let somebody else deal with it.

Currently I'm investing in real estate. Perhaps in Paraguay, where the Bush family has a big spread. They know something. Do you think this Syria deal could spin out of control and bring down a ration of $h!t. I do. I just had two very well connected friends sell out and move to Bolivia.

Did you just watch Sarah? Any halfassed poker player can tell you she was bigly scared. I wonder what she knows? She stuck with the script but her tells flashed like a neon sign.

The US didn't deny the attack, they denied that we did it. Large difference. It was Israeli F-15s using Popeye air to surface missiles.
