Personally im not triggered by false flag conspiracies with supposed fake people in faked videos.
Not saying deception does not exist, but I feel this recent event falls on the shoulders of the negligent Syrian gov. and their assisting gov. entities. What is your stance?

First, the west and regional allies have been trying to overthrow Assad since 2013 via a proxy war. That's why Russia got involved.

This is entirely too convenient for that goal, and it doesn't really make sense that Assad would do this at this late stage where he's winning.

The Syrian army didnt do it. The rebels or their allies and their arms dealers probably did it.

Turkey has been using their own chemical weapons lately in Syria.

How is a gas attack different from a bullet when a foreigner fires them in Syria?

Are there even any Syrians outside the Syrian army that are still fighting in this "civil war" ?

How much of the rebel groups are composed of foreign fighters and consultants?

Is this a mercenary army invading a sovereign nation? Yes I think so.

The group that finances the armies is the one who sold the weapons used.

War is now just a business. Who profits from the past wars fought in the mid east. Who manufactures and ships the arms used in these conflicts.

IF it was Assads aircraft in the vicinity, and IF Assad states so the media will immediately conjure up headlines intimating his involvement in aerial bombardment with CW. As stated, why would he jeopardise his position by resorting to this when he's already winning ?
As also pointed out previously, dying in a manufactured war is a nasty business, whether you get half your face blown off by a bullet or gassed, there is no 'nice' death in war. This is used because it's an emotive subject, throw in children and you get the publics anger on your side.

Assad has the area encircled by his army, the perfect conditions for him to think he could use them because nobody can get in or out of the besieged small area. Any use will be mopped up and scrubbed away by his army since they are in control of the area and moving quickly to eradicate all resistance in the pocket. The people there are helpless, nobody could get inside except Russia and they would help Assad cover it up to avoid embarrassment.

The thing you don't seem to be getting is... who is it reporting about this aircraft (and the chemical attack in general)? Because obviously if we believe it to be a false-flag by pro-western forces who have a strong interest in keeping the region destabilized against the Assad regime and their allies - then it'd make sense to distrust pro-western sources/intel.

This comes down to whether you have faith in your government to believe what they say, or not. And there's been more than enough factors this past couple decades that have lead us to the latter.
