Looks like the big bad bad boogey man we call the media isn't as powerful as some seem to think? You'd think with the talk around here about how much the media influences "most people" that his numbers would be closer to zero than they are. Looks like that's a bunch of nonsensical hyperbole according to this poll, the only poll that matters apparently since any that casts Trump in a negative light is called fake.

Trump said polls are fake news and the worshipers should ignore them.
Is this poll valid this time? Trumps up

Although his polling numbers are getting slightly better they have been absolutely awful for most of his presidency, he had the lowest first year job approval poling of all time by at least 10 points according to some pollsters. So its hardly like they could be getting any worse so I think getting excited when one poll comes out that shows his numbers are improving is hardly a cause for celebration.
FiveThirtyEight who look at all of the main polls still indicate that over all his approval rating is only around 40%. By contrast Obama was at 48% at this point in his presidency. So really he is not actually poling higher than Obama and the title is misleading as it is based of a single poll. When you look at several polls together then the opposite is true.
I think that you can play with polling numbers all you want but overall Trump is still recognised as being massively unpopular at home and abroad and his polling numbers overall back this up, regardless of what this one poll has to say.

You think Trump is worse than Bush and Clinton? What Country do you Reign from?
He has a point, trump is the least liked president for quite some time, he is considered a buffoon by pretty much everyone outside of the U. S and by at least half of the U.S itself.
We won't know if he was worse than bush or Clinton until his presidency is over and the numbers can be crunched.
I really hope he does improve life for American citizens and that he is a huge success, however as a gambling man I wouldn't lay my money on him for the win.

Trump is the least liked President because he's doing it right. People aren't used to it and it's making the left 'nuts'.

That is not what I said, what I said was that when you look at the raw data from polling number he is polling worse than anyone, please refrain from putting words into my mouth
At this point Bush was soaring with something like 70% approval ratings, Clinton was on about 50% and Trump is barely hitting 40%.
Don't cry to me because your guy is unpopular thats just how it is, those are the numbers.

No one could possibly be worse than Clinton or Bush. Unless your Godzilla that is..

This is not supposed to happen! I thought most Americans form their big-picture political views from what they see in the mainstream news media, and from late-night comedians. A full 90% of TV and Print media spew mostly Anti-Trump (Anti-America) content. With the exception of Jimmy Fallon (NBC), the late-night comedians are very hard on President Trump, and even his family. So are Google and MSN news and search engines.
So, how do you explain this historically reliable Rasmussen poll result?
Source: www.rasmussenreports.com...
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Wednesday shows that 51% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance.
President Obama earned a 46% job approval rating on April 4, 2010, his second year in office.
Not that 51% is a great number, but considering the headwinds that President Trump faces daily, from the most powerful media forces in America, 51% is pretty damn good.
What's perplexing, is that even with 90% of the Media and Hollywood firmly in his corner, President Obama (aka "The Messiah") was barely over 45% approval.
Maybe the influence of the media and celebrities has been over-rated (by them!) since 2010?
Even though they were gushing over Noble prize winning Obama, the public was stinging, because his lies about ObamaCare were becoming widely known and felt.
And likewise, the constant spewing of Anti-Trump rumors and propaganda are having little impact, because Americans see their quality of life, and America's overall prosperity trending upward.
Conclusion: Americans are NOT the DUMB SHEEP that the Media, Hollywood, and Liberal Democrats think we are!

The porn star whose bombshell claims about sex with Donald Trump have rocked his presidency desperately tried to sell her story for $200,000 — nearly 50 percent more than the 'hush' money she received, DailyMail.com can reveal.
Stormy Daniels's manager made the rounds of celebrity magazines, television shows, and websites in the run-up to the 2016 presidential election, hoping someone would bite.
She promised a story of Stormy's titillating sexcapade with the man who would soon be in the Oval Office.
But with polling day getting ever closer, and her chances of a payday getting more remote as Trump appeared doomed to lose to Hillary Clinton, Daniels gave up on her money chase and accepted the $130,000 that Trump attorney Michael Cohen had dangled in front of her in a bid to keep the story quiet.
Cohen insists he paid the money out of his own pocket and was not reimbursed by either the Trump campaign or the Trump Organization.
'It looks to me that she accepted Cohen's money because she could not get the money she wanted from anyone else,' one media executive said.
DailyMail.com was among the outlets approached by Stormy's manager Gina Rodriguez in October 2016. We turned her down.
