If that is true, then this thread could act as an effective corral as well. If they are actively prohibiting any discussion outside of here, as you're saying, and they can shut this one down because of fighting and arguing, they will. And the Q discussion will be effectively done on ATS...because you're essentially saying this is the only discussion that they will allow to continue.

If you're right, then we need to keep it on topic and civil, no matter what. Right?

That's basically the jist of it. I'm still not clear on the mod posts with the line it take two to tango. Does it mean we should ignore people or not.

There will be many that will try to derail this. Seen it before, not just here. They will try to trigger who they can to discredit. They will flood in posts to bury truths. I'd be careful with links from new or unknowns at this point. And as far as thinking all the good guys here are good...well remember the blankets with small pox given to the native Americans. Is Kimmel seriously hiding behind the "I demeaned them so everyone could laugh about it!" line? I don't think that would work for someone like Tim Allen, say.

It's important to be cautious. It's also important to do research on someone before deciding their agenda. I've been here nearly 10 years, iib even longer. Read their content and research before passing judgement. You've been here 2 days. Just sayin.

There ya have it. We need links etc to "prove" stuff yet we aren't allowed to do that, hence why you keep getting told to "look it up" on your own. The only site we can reference are the ones the drops are consolidated, which initially was a twitter acct, now it is a webpage, which have zero feedback about the posts.

Honestly, I personally just ignore them. If you notice, the times that people simply choose not to engage them, they tend to leave after a few repetitive jabs. I think ultimately, with what you brought up being taken into account, ignoring them might just be best all the way around.

I know it's difficult as hell...but if we feed them and they can suck us into an ugly fight, they might very well be trying to do it purposely so they can kill this thread completely. If we refuse to engage, then such a plot won't work.

Just my thoughts on the whole unsettling possibility that we've been bottlenecked into one huge thread for a reason.

Here's what to do: Compile the whole thread (using Notepad++ I advise). Post the thread, but have all the code saved on file. If the mods delete it then paste all the code in here. Then put the link to the post in your sig.
