What country did the US rescue from destruction lately?

Not Iraq, in-fact they destroyed Iraq. Not Libya, in-fact they destroyed Libya.

Putin on the other hand exposed and told the world about how the US/NATO meddling in the ME had ruined countries for years and was still trying in Syria.

Putin on the other hand, unlike the US and its fiddling around with their FAKE war on ISIS, was directly responsible for the destruction of ISIS as well the other jihadis that were American agents hired to destroy Syria….And this is what Putin, to his great credit did and he saved a country and maybe millions from a sure genocide that would have occurred if those jihadi savages the US supported in Syria would have beaten the Syrian Arab Army.

Only in the crooked west will it never be acknowledged that Putin and the Syrian Arab Army is primarily responsible for saving the world from the scrounge of ISIS.

The plan was for those jihadi savages to take Syria and proceed to genocide the population and then the west would have an excuse to go in with full force and save Syria while at the same time taking it over.

Putin stopped that sinister plan.

I love these Putin love threads.

With this much gushing, I’d expect you either already live there or are planning on moving yourself and your whole family there ASAP.

if not, why not?

Too bad Obama / Hillary / DNC / McCain / CIA twisted reality around, and scapegoated Russia for the entire ordeal that they started, which was the genesis of all this Neo-McCarthyism insanity that has infected "the West" ever since.

Effing war criminals.

Some of those things you said are true. However, Putin didn't do this just because, they also have their reasons and things to gain from keeping Syria out of the U.S reach. For example that gas pipeline that the US wanted to prevent because it would take business out of US allies or something?

If you think he did it out of pure love you have completely misunderstood how Russia works and it's not much different than any other country.

Some of us living in 'crooked west' can see both sides and understand both without going crazy in love for either side

Trump defeated ISIS, Putin didn't end ISIS when Obama was pretending to care but doing nothing, so there is no way Putin did it with Trump going in guns blazing.

Kremlin hogwash.

LOL So people can only speak positively about a country's foreign policy if they plan to move there? What kind of logic is that?

a reply to: Willtell

As for the OP. The problems with this line of thinking are that 1) it implies that people want Syria under Assad to be "saved" and 2) it ignores the fact that many countries were either trying to help the rebels topple Assad or intervening in Syria under the pretext of fighting terrorists there. In other words, Putin's actions in Syria helped nullify the actions of many countries that wanted to have their way in Syria. So I don't think those countries would openly start praising him too much for his actions there.

It’s over Syria that all this anti-Putin propaganda is all about, not Trump, not Ukraine, not Putin’s supposed attack on his turncoat spies.

As for the American election, Putin had every right to want a more pro-Russian American president. And if he did meddle it was no comparison to the degree the US CIA had meddled in other countries elections and governance. I mean how many times did the US CIA try to murder Castro?

Its really almost a joke to see Americans complain about Russia meddling in American elections when America for almost 70 years have overthrown governments, had the CIA pay politicians in Italy, Germany, and other European countries to make a pro-American government.

Not to mention the coups in South America, and Africa where heads of state were murdered by the US CIA.

The so-called deep state was so pissed off at Putin over Syria this sent the US election into a tailspin of treachery, sinister deep plotting and a dangerous atmosphere of recriminations and division the country has rarely seen--all just to get back at Putin for his Syrian rescue operation.

Of course, I don't think Putin did this because he trying to go for sainthood. I didn't imply nor say that.

Of course, he had self-interest

Sure, why not?

At the very least they should hang a Russian flag outside their house.

It’s funny that Putin becomes the default hero because he’s anti us government establishment, but is one of the most power hungry, corrupt people in the world.

If he's a world hero for what he did in Syria, what is he for what he did in Ukraine?

Right. They didnt even do Ukraine until after Syria went all to hell. Not to excuse them, but if anything it was their excuse. Which by the way Ukraine is their neighbor, where they have history, and a ton of countrymen living there so they at least have some legal argument. Where Syria thats half way around the world to US, its in Russia's 'neighborhood', and then there's that pesky fact that Syria has been Russian's ally since the 70's.

Imagine if Russia blew up Panama, we stepped in as we naturally would, then Putin unleashed an armada of propaganda blaming the entire thing on US. And used the entire affair they started to prompt a New Cold War while demonizing US, at every twist and turn, to the entire world.

This is not about loving Putin, but about acknowledging his actions in saving a country form sure destruction, that many countries were trying to do to Syria.

Sure, it was in Putin’s self-interest, his military base there, the planned pipeline but nonetheless what he did saved a country form a sinister plot by the western deep state and Zionists to destroy a country.

Which you care oh so much about when I've seen you go completely out of your effing mind over people joke burning Hillary (which blows Putin out of the water off the land out of the sky and outer space, simultaneously in everything you just said).

Or Libya, or Iraq. People forget so easily.

Politics is complex but when you have something simple once in a while like Putin directly saving a country under vicious, sinister attack, it has to be acknowledged.

It’s also the same commanders.

So uh yeah... anti Obama hogwash.

Don’t people see that they were going to genocide the Shia in Syria by letting the jihadi lunatics take over?

I assure you that was the plan.

When the western news would start reporting those nuts from ISIS and Al-Qaida SLAUGHTERING the Syrian people that would have precipitated a massive western intervention into Syria.

That was the plan
