The BBC, France24 and other news organizations are supported by their respective governments and are clearly "foreign agents of influence."
There's a difference. The BBC ain't a broadcaster that is devoted to propagating a State contrived narrative. RT.com and other Russian broadcasters exist for one reason. Also the BBC is "not supported" by the British government per se.

Well, the other night I was surfing the news channels and RT was showing an in-depth story of what is going on in Syria. Meanwhile, CNN was devoting all it's time to a porn star.
You mean you watched RT justifying Russia's support of a brutal regime while covering up the ongoing genocide, whereas CNN was covering one of the many lawsuits threatening to bring down a corrupt American president? I know which one is more pressing. As a British subject, Trump's legal affairs will have more impact on your life than Russia' s glorious triumphs against "terrorists" in Syria.

Yes they are. They are told by the cabinet office what they're allowed to report and what they're not.

No they are not. Do your research. The BBC is not run by the British government. RT.com is run by the Russian government, along with several other State broadcasters.

I didn't say they are run by the the British government. I said that they are told what they can and cannot report by the Cabinet Office.

I won't miss it. There are better sources for your news than blatant pro-Russia and America = bad propaganda outlets. The gullible people who enjoy that news will go to the internet anyways.

The Cabinet Office is the department that sets policy for the running of government. They have no jurisdiction at all over the BBC and cannot dictate what the BBC reports, or not. You are wrong.

Here we go. How exactly is Trump a corrupt President? I mean, I expect he is because all world leaders are corrupted one way or another but what exactly has Trump done that is proven to be corrupt since his time in office?
