They are all gone.
They were swallowed by the darkness.
In an attempt to save this galaxy from an impending doom by reversing the growth of a type of black hole that expands outward using a type of technology that uses gold as a catalyst. It wasnt working, and in a last ditch effort most stayed behind the try to finalize it, but a small few where instructed to leave to save their knowledge incase it failed. Where those few went?
I am not sure. Itll be hundreds of thousands of years before it reaches this part of the galaxy so no concearn. But for the countless helpless species in between here and there, not so lucky.
I've dreamed a long dream with these kind hearted people. They love all life in this world, all creatures of god big and small.
Such a shame it had to end this way.
