I know this isn't happening here, though I have very little doubt we are moving in that direction.

Once advanced AI and crypto currencies are mainstream, our world is going to look a lot like a dystopian sci fi movie.

Its more about the automatic tickets they text you... but yes, obviously they have access to our most intimate details.

Facial recognition is so old hat..... Gait recognition is more reliable, at a longer range, and probably better for the jaywalking scenario.

Yeah buddy, that's exactly what I was getting at.

Automatic tickets based off of a database.

I couldn't imagine a place where you can not cross the road where ever you want.
Must be horrid living in a place like that.
It is easy to fool facial recognition software and you can now get clothes that help you not be recognised.

The photo app on my phone thinks its smart enough to auto group people into albums. But it's horribly wrong most of the time! It thinks my brother is me, even though we have very different faces.

Far more Chinese guys/gals look like each other than American guys/gals do. I can't see the Chinese face recognition system being accurate more than 50% of the time.
