Dan Schneider (born January 14, 1966)[1][2] is an American actor, television and film writer, and producer. After appearing in mostly supporting roles in a number of 1980s and 1990s films and TV shows, Schneider devoted himself to behind-the-scenes work in production. He is the co-president of television production company Schneider's Bakery. He showran most of All That, and created/co-created The Amanda Show,[3] What I Like About You,[4] Drake & Josh,[4] Zoey 101,[4]iCarly,[5] Victorious,[4] Sam & Cat,[6] Henry Danger,[7] Game Shakers,[4] and The Adventures of Kid Danger.[8]
Following many conversations together about next directions and future opportunities, Nickelodeon and our long-time creative partner Dan Schneider/Schneider’s Bakery have agreed to not extend the current deal,” Nickelodeon and Dan Schneider — whose Henry Danger could continue on with another season, but the verdict is still out on what will happen with animated series The Adventures of Kid Danger — detailed in a joint statement made to Deadline.
“Since several Schneider’s Bakery projects are wrapping up, both sides agreed that this is a natural time for Nickelodeon and Schneider’s Bakery to pursue other opportunities and projects.”
Robert Downey Jr. allegedly wrote the following statement about Dan Schneider on Crazy Days and Nights under the screen name Himmmm:
Hes a monster. The WORST predator alive. And if you wonder why nobody will confront or charge him? Hes in charge of multiple HIT SHOWS for Nick which rakes in oceans of money. Tens of millions of dollars multiplied by many years and many shows (not to mention his merchandising royalties). So Viacom-Nick warn him to cool it - then pay for his damn lawyers.
What about the parents? No tweener parent who shoved their kid into the limelight from birth is going to cross him either, and risk career suicide and loss of revenue (and residuals and future career). No matter how bad it ****s up the kids. Especially if theres MULTIPLE kid actors in the family. And the kids agents are complicit too. Just ask the Spears family. A LOT of settlements get paid out of Viacoms accounts.

Finally. How long did it take Viacom to realize the money wasn't worth it? Had to be one of the worst secrets kept in Hollywood entertainment. He didn't even hid his pedo tendencies.
However it wasn't just him. The studio and the parents knew what he was but they continued to give him fresh meat to consume all for fame and money.
